Bantam Cider was born from a proud family tradition of wine making to offer creative and memorable craft cider using locally sourced apples and other all natural ingredients. We believe cider making is more art than science, the process requiring patience over expediency. Founded in 2012, Bantam is based in Somerville, MA, only 1.5 miles from downtown Boston. The production space and taproom is open to the public, where visitors can enjoy tasting flights or pints of cider in a modern industrial setting with large communal tables and views of our fermentation tanks and oak barrels. Growlers and packaged cider are available to go.

Good interesting ciders
Visited here with some friends over weekend that wanted to introduce me to American cider. Took a flight meaning could try up to 5 different ciders for $12 which is great value. They offer a good mix and could taste the difference between them and European ones I’m used to. Although some clearly draw on the European style. Was busy but not overcrowded and was very chilled and laid back. Good way to kill few hours with friends or family.

Tasty ciders!
A fun way place to hang out for an afternoon and try all their ciders. They do flights so it’s an easy way to try a wide variety of flavors. Will definitely come back!
