Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly! See more..

We stopped in to try some nice locally made wines on Memorial Day, and really enjoyed our time here. You are able to get a tasting of their wines (you choose 5), a glass of anything on their menu or a bottle and enjoy it on the winery floor or outside, if the weather is nice (it wasn't the day we visited). The staff is very helpful and happy to answer any questions you have about their wine or the process. You are also able to bring in your own food, so you can turn your visit into a nice picnic! Really worth the visit and we want to visit when the weather is nice! See more..
  4. 4.5 Short Path Distillery (25 reviews)
    - Took a Tour of Short Path
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
    Short Path Distillery image
We came here on Mother's Day since my mother-in-law wanted to take a tour of their distillery. Since they allow you to bring in food, we brought in some stuff for a picnic before our tour and chatted with the staff. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and really walked us through how Short Path came to be as well as how they make their different liquors. The tour lasts just over an hour with a cocktail tasting at the end. Our only complaint was that the staff was playing some music in the bar area that was a bit questionable. We totally understand that they work there too and want to hear music to pass the time, but some of the songs were rap songs laced with swear words. Didn't really fit the atmosphere for a Sunday Mother's Day. Short Path is a hidden gem in Everett and is worth the visit! See more..

The name is dirty, but the place is clean! We walked right in around 3 o'clock on a wintery Saturday afternoon in January. No lines. No waits. We were pleasantly greeted and was able to sample some of the unique cordials and whiskeys at no cost. My favorite was the Cranberry Liquor. We bought a bottle to take home. (I wish I bought more, but we live close by, so I can easily go back.) My husband loved the whiskey. His is gone too! See more..

    - A wonderful small cider brewery

We went here for a tour and tasting for Fathers Day. I have to say I was really taken with the place as a small, local business. Nate spent a lot of time answering our questions about cider-making, his path to starting this business, and the struggles of owning a small business during a global pandemic. This is exactly the type of business people should be supporting. We especially enjoyed the Bliss cider, but everything was good. See more..
