    Salem Old Town Hall image
This was a must-see on our visit to salem and did draw quite a crowd, as it’s where the famous party spot in hocus pocus was filmed, where Bette Midler sang “I put a spell on you”. I can only imagine how busy it must get in Halloween season. It’s a beautiful building & well preserved. It’s in the centre of the main high street so easy enough to find, but it isn’t signposted so keep your eyes peele See more..

    - Think about the balcony
Spent 2-3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Civic Centres • Government Buildings
We attended a Righteous Brothers concert here and were pleased with the venue. The parking was good, the hall was small enough to feel connected to the entertainers, and the acoustics were pretty satisfactory. Our tip is that the side balconies offers some good seats which are better than many on the floor. The seating on the floor is by folding seats, and the floor is flat. So the sight lines from not too many rows back isn't very good. The mezzanine part of the balcony is sloped and thus better. But it is fairly far back in the hall. By contrast many the side balcony seats have good sight lines. Moreover, the balcony is lower than many, which further enhances the view. See more..
