Our favorite part of the visit was the one-on-one tour we received from a staffer named Brian. We did not request this, but he just stayed with us and explained the details of each animal we saw. There were a lot of animals to see, both inside and outside. We highly recommend this zoo and rescue center to anyone who loves animals. We also enjoyed the presentation of various small animals before we did the tour.See more..

This place has so much to do here. There are great hiking trails for starters, but... there is also a disc golf course, free zoo, great play grounds with a huge sandbox and slide, and a wonderful memorial garden. Some of the picnic sites have grills and plenty of space in between them. You can easily kill a whole afternoon here with the family.See more..

Smallish but nice. We have been coming to Lupa Zoo every other year and its very nice for smaller kids. its not a huge place with tons of municipal funding so dont expect anything extraordinary, but its nice just to get out and see some animals you would typically not get to see.See more..
