My mother, grandmother and 4 year old went on Pirate Adventures and they were all smiles (and pirate talk) after. My 93 year old grandmother was welcomed aboard and sat in the shaded rear of the boat with my mom while my son joined the crew in the bow. He had an amazing time and was reciting the songs and stories when he got off the boat. WELL WORTH IT! Will absolutely be going again.See more..
This was the best part of our recent trip to Salem. The crew and ship provided for an outstanding opportunity to explore the history of Salem’s sea faring legacy. This schooner ride about the harbor came with participatory experiences for all who sailed. Helping to raise a sail, taking a hand on the tiller, and hearing all about The Fame of Salem’s vital role in the War of 1812 made this an adventure my two children and I will never forget.See more..
Enjoy the water! Want to enjoy a break from 90+F heat wave? Want an enjoyable 3 hour cruise without buying/renting a boat? Well this fits your need. 1st half narrated cruise thru the canal from Onset(Wareham) to Sandwich for less than $25? Get there for the 10AM boat and there usually is $2/hour parking at the dock. Water and non alcoholic beverages are allowed. The Viking Cruise line offers this pleasant trip up and back thru the canal. The ship has an open top deck with overhang for about half the seats and enclosed lower deck with windows that can be opened. And if you time your trip just right you may see the Cape Flyer (Boston to Hyannis) weekend train that runs along the Bourne side of the canal and the canal railroad bridge lowered to accomodate it. Looking for a fun day on the water this can't be beat.See more..
4.5Captain's Fishing Parties & Cruises(71 reviews) - 3/4 Day trip out-produced our normal full day trip! Monday: 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
Every other ship was pulling in dog fish (sand sharks) all day. Captain Dan put us on so many haddock and redfish that we had to empty out our oversized cooler. I've been fishing with Captain's Fishing for 20+ years, and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.See more..
My husband and I enjoyed a leisurely relaxing cruise on the Indian Princess. It was so nice to sit back and enjoy the scenery. We were fortunate to spot an eagle perched on one of the tall trees and see the huge nest nearby. It was a lovely Fall afternoon. People were fishing, boating & jet-skiing on the lake. The boat is fully equipped with tables & chairs, a bar and squeaky clean restrooms. The crew was very helpful and eager to answer any questions. It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The cost is very affordable for the hour and a half-ride. Try to visit before the cruises end for the season on October 24. The foliage should be spectacular soon.See more..

My son and I have fished with Capt Rich for over 15 summers . His knowledge of local fishing hotspots is legendary . We never fail to get a freezer full of fillets to tide us over the winter . Furthermore & more importantly ,Rich has been exceptionally patient when working with my son who has development disabilities .He will encourage him , help him bait his line and also remove fish off the hook , all the while explaining the process . We can’t wait for the next fishing season. .....See more..
4.0Boating in Boston(27 reviews) - Hopkinton State Park. Boat Tours • Gear Rentals • Boat Rentals
The Park is beautiful and clean. We took our own boats (inflatable) and had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed the beach. It is really a very beautiful park. We did not go to the main beach area, very crowded for us. There is another small beach in that same park on Dogwood Drive which is very good and less crowded. There is enough parking with picnic benches and restroom close by. There is an entrance fee of $5. If you go after 530pm just for boating or playing on the beach, no fee!See more..
4.5Miss Peddocks Island Charters(13 reviews) - Great group outing and a beautiful sunset Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours
We were a group of Army Veterans in the area for a Reunion and took the Saturday evening sunset cruise. Thankfully, one of the group lives in Hull, MA. We had a fantastic time! The crew was excellent. There was a cash bar on-board. The weather did turn on us a bit but it didn't rain. Between the weather blowing in and hitting the area known as The Gut about the same time, we were sure bobbing around out there for a while. The views were awesome. Definitely would do it all over again!See more..
Bucket list was to shark dive! Was hoping to see a Great White, but unfortunately not this time. Captain Joe was a very nice guy. Sharks weren’t coming as fast as we hoped but he made sure we stayed until we saw them. Ended up seeing a a few Blues, a couple Mako, some dolphins, and seals. The captains arrived on time at the pickup location, and we headed out a little after 8am. If they hire more staff it would be cool if they did a photo package or sold some merchandise, but other than that it was a fun trip!See more..
Our family of 3 truly enjoyed our time under sail with Captain Phil. We had pretty strong winds and nice ocean swells. Each of us felt completely comfortable. Captain Phil is not only a seasoned expert sailor, but he is also very familiar with sailing the Scituate area. We could not have been in better hands. I would highly recommend sailing with Captain Phil and if we return to the area this trip will be #1 on our list.See more..

We had a great day of sailing on Buzzards Bay with skipper Laurel aboard their 31’ Pearson. The boat was well maintained and very comfortable. Laurel is not only an expert sailor but also an Underwater Archeologist. She told some great sea stories and instructed us on basing sailing techniques so we were able to trim the sails, steer and tack with her guidance. The sail boat is at a mooring so Laurel arranged for a tender to take us out and back in after sailing included in the price. She also brought some snacks to share which was very thoughtful. All in all we had a great experience!See more..
Last weekend my husband and I enjoyed a three-day, two-night adventure aboard a daysailer with our sailing instructor and guide, Olaf. It was amazing! First we set out from a picturesque launch in Connecticut among the marshes and their birds. We explored many places along the Connecticut river, and saw osprey urging their fledglings out of their treetop nests. At night, anchored in a quiet cove, we slept under the stars and in the morning woke up to bird music. It was an unforgettable experience. I’ve also taken two other trips with Marsh and Bay, and these left from Westport Massachusetts. Both the Connecticut and the Massachusetts departure points are beautiful. If you want to step into another world, step onto a sailboat with Marsh and Bay Expeditions. You will learn how to sail a small boat (dinghy), how to read the wind and currents, and how to appreciate our coastal waters and backwaters. A Marsh and Bay expedition aboard a 17-foot sailing vessel is the sailing equivalent of backpacking. It’s about living with only the essentials and experiencing our wonderful and wonder-filled natural world.See more..
