    I adore the 1634 Meadery.
Twice I have gone up to the 1634 Meadery and been very happy both times. The staff is welcoming & knowledgeable. 1643 Meadery produces fabulous meads, some sweet, othes semi-sweet, and some dry. I have tried several of their meads and they are often complex. My favorites are Stinger & Friar Luke's. I have also enjoyed Devil's Foot Print, Mother Clucker, Cranberry Mead, In The Orchard, Viking Victory, & Strawbery Fields. It is on the small side, so I would go to their website to book a mead tasting.

    We’re Believers Now!
After first tasting mead at a local Scottish festival and hating it, we were curious to try something a bit more “legit. Welp, we found the right place! Was a quick stop on a Friday afternoon and Max was amazing, guiding us through a flight, explaining and informing all things mead with humor and aplomb, in the most friendly and accessible way. We loved the mead and the tasting room ambience, bought three bottles and will definitely return!
