Nothing For Sale
This shop offers furnishings you would typically find in fine historic homes around the Ipswich/Hamilton/Wenham area--textiles, lamps, chairs, tables. There is something for every décor, from Victorian times to mid-century modern. The shop has a jewelry room and a selection of vintage clothing, hats, and accessories. You will also find Native American pottery. It is a very clean shop, and it is attractively well organized. The problem? Nothing is for sale. The majority of the items in the shop are not marked and the proprietor did not suggest she was open to offers. She said she has to research every item before she puts a price on it. You can come in, you can look, but most of what you see you simply cannot buy. How the shop stays in business without moving the merchandise to willing customers on the spot is just perplexing. You will find few or no collectibles, no automobilia, or vintage Americana here. The owners are quite knowledgeable and friendly. But they would rather yak with you than sell you their wares. There are far better antique shops in this region. Pass this one by.

Large Antique Store
This is a very large antique shop in Ipswich. Like any antique shop, the inventory changes, and sometimes there are items of interest, and other times not. Unlike others, apparently, we have never had a problem with the service.
