Best Antiquarian BookStore ANYWHERE!
This is a treasure trove for those looking for really old books(we bought an early 18th century book there). There are books available for a wide range of prices, including a DOLLAR BARN in the back of the main building(which is an old school house). We have discovered some amazing books in the dollar barn. My wife and I go there regularly and always find something to take home. In the dollar barn there are also more recent novels and non-fiction. But even there you can find some older books. The search is almost as much fun as reading the book once your have bought it!

Owners Retired: The Book Center is closed.
After decades of serving the area with the most wonderful selection of used and antiquarian books, the Whately Book Center has closed. Just don't want people driving there and finding out it no longer is open for business.
