Wonderful Vineyard, Bob is outstanding, & pleasant view.

This is the 3rd time to this wonderful, tucked away vineyard in the country. Bob, is always a pleasure, sharing his knowledge on the wines. He even had copies of his recipe for hummus if you desired. You can bring your own snacks, which some other vineyards in the area do not allow. So, brought cold shrimp cocktail, cheese, & crackers. Two bottles of Chardonnay purchased & had a lovely afternoon with my friends. There are a few tables & Adirondack chairs facing the vineyard. Weather could not have been better. Steady stream of visitors throughout the afternoon.I am sure we will be back again. Cheers! .

    Worth your time
We had a Living Social for this vineyard. I'm familiar with the area, so was surprised there was a vineyard in S. Dartmouth. It's not locatable by GPS, but pretty close. We drove up into a residential development of beautiful spread out homes. We initially thought this was some kind of scam and we would be going to someones house to drink wine in their living room. There is a small sign in the front of the house directing you around back to the winery. As we approached the back yard, we saw a sprawling lawn with the vineyard in the distance. The tasting took place in the back. There was a tasting in progress so we went out into the yard, and walked through the vineyard. When it was time for our tasting, our guide "Bob" walked us through the history of how the owner got started in the business and the process of wine making. We tasted 7 wines. All of them were pretty good. As we tasted, Bob told us more about that particular wine. We were with a small group of other tasters, feeling like at the end we had found new friends. The tasting lasted close to an hour. If you get the chance, check it out. More fun than I anticipated.

    A quaint setting.
This location was a little difficult to locate at first, mainly you weren't sure if you were in the right location; it definitely isn't your typical vineyard setting. But once you arrive and don't be startled, you will have to walk around back of the house, you will enjoy a great view from the tasting area of the vineyard with a tree lined back drop. Bob was full of great information and seemed very interested in anything you may have to say or comment about. He made you feel comfortable within minutes of your arrival. The wines are very good and the choice of grapes for the region, I think are spot on. If you are ever heading back west from the Cape area, this is well worth a little detour back home, I know I will. If you have the time, stay and enjoy a bottle and the view.
