I love the idea of this pier and from the beach it is kind of cool, although even from the outside it can clearly use a little bit of love (it doesn't really look like the main photo on this page any longer). But walking through the pier was a huge disappointment. It was dark and dingy and quite honestly, there's not much on it--a couple shops and food stalls, leading to the restaurant at the end. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it just felt dark and crowded and kind of a waste of time. We went in and got back out very quickly.See more..

I don't care for the new set up the pit was way too small during Megadeth and FFDP needed to be bigger with the amount of people in there. I didn't like getting elbow at every second it was annoying more than anything. I wanted to enjoy the show not put up with some drunk jerk.See more..

3.0Joker's Family Fun & Games(42 reviews) - Joker's.....Worse than their old location!!!! Spent 1-2 hours Game & Entertainment Centers
I went this past weekend to the new location in Westbrook. It is worse in a few ways. 1. The Men's restroom is TINY (two stalls) and NO URINAL...with a zillion kids, this is a drawback. 2. No Laser Tag any longer. 3. It truly looks like they just put all of the old games into a truck and moved them to the new location....I mean, they are still dirty, some monitors are dark and unplayable, some buttons don't work.. They didn't even clean the dust off of them.... 4.Same junk, new location. 5. They have more party rooms, so i guess that is a good thing for the kiddies. 6. The food is the same, the fountain soda is now behind the counter. 7. The jungle gym is nice a large and is the main attraction there for sure. 8. The only other rides are a bounce house and a slide. You get 4 slides, or 4 min. in the bounce house for the price of a ticket. They really need to get some new games in there, possibly a pinball machine or two. Just my two cents. I hope this helps others.See more..
3.5Playland Adventures(40 reviews) - Fun place, a few issues Monday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Game & Entertainment Centers
Took our seven and (almost) three year old. They both had fun. The price is reasonable, but there a few "extra" things to do which cost $3 a person, which seemed a bit high. Biggest complaint is the staffing/service. Mostly teens, and their seemed to be no oversight. The only "manager" was stuck at the cash register nonstop, and had no idea what was going on elsewhere. Some of the staff just stood around talking with each other, or texting, etc. So it was hard to find someone to let us use the parachute-lift ride, for example. When we ordered food, it sat there hidden on the counter for five minutes before somebody thought to tell us that it was ready. So my only real complaint is that the service and oversight could be better.See more..

Booking was fairly simple with a gift certificate we received. Our first trip was canceled due to a lightening storm (completely understandable) and despite a little rain and a short delay our 2nd attempt went off without a hitch. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and gave us a brief history of ballooning. His staff was very helpful and knew the area of Massachusetts where we flew very well. To my surprise we had 8 people in the balloon including the pilot and tanks, yet somehow we managed to fit and all get a great view. The only thing I'd suggest is bring earplugs as the flame thrower can be very loud and a little hot too (obviously!) Some people may not enjoy this part but I was excited to help pack up the balloon on landing and then return back to the takeoff site by van for a champagne toast. A wonderful first experience!See more..
3.0Pirates Patio(17 reviews) - Decent but very upset with incident... Bars & Clubs
Food was good, the location on the beach was fun and music was nice...here is the BAD. Went with my parents, husband and daughter with my grandkids and son inlaw. My son inlaw is a disabled marine and we had a service dog with us. The party next to our table put $40 dollars down on our tab to thank my so inlaw for his service they thanked him and left. When I bill came the 40 dollar credit was not there. The waitstaff said the woman who left was a regular "drunk" and didnt put money down on our tab. NO way to prove she did, but she did not appear drunk to us. Be believe the waitstaff pocketed the money, very disappointing.See more..

Not much of a destination, but a fun pit stop if you're driving through New England! (Especially if you're into weird roadside attractions, like I am.) Bryant Pond was the last town in the U.S. to give up on hand-crank telephones, and in 2008 they decided to build a huge freakin' monument to celebrate it. The thing's 14 feet tall and weighs 3,000 pounds; it's hard to miss, especially since there's not much else of note around it. No gift shop that we could see, but you can climb all around it and take as many photos as you want.See more..
3.5Maine Made Shop(11 reviews) - Great stuff, but maybe in need of new staffing. Monday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops This is the one place we take friends and family to shop when we're in Maine. Lots of great amazing gifts, in a variety of price ranges. However, this past week, my 11 year old son unfolded ONE t-shirt to see the decal before buying it, and the clerk fussed at him, saying he shouldn't unfold any more because she would have to refold them. He's a good kid, it was 1 shirt, and he was with 2 adults AND his 18 year old sister. She was unkind to a child, and she lost a lotta points for that in our book.See more..

About 15 in our group were looking for a hike and we went here. It was nothing to write home about, but we had a good time. The trails are not flat. Some paths stand to have grasses cut back. 3.5Tassel Top Park(8 reviews) - Small Family Beach on Sebago Lake Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hiking Trails Tassel Top was a small, 35-acre (14 ha) family-friendly town park and town beach on the eastern shore of Sebago Lake. It boasted 980 feet (298 m) of narrow, sandy beachfront. Tall white pines shaded much of the beach. The swimming area was marked off to keep boats out. There was no lifeguard. Picnic tables were near the beach. If visitors tired of the beach, there was an easy half-mile (0.8 km), well-marked nature trail through the woods. Trail maps were at the trailhead. Parking was in two gravel lots. A snack shed was at the lower parking lot. A day pass was $4 per person ages 11-64. We liked most the clean beach sand; we liked least the lack of sunny space on the very narrow beach.See more..

3.5Woodbury Pond(6 reviews) - Cute little pond Spent More than 3 hours Bodies of Water
My hubby and I went there because it is dog friendly and we wanted to take our dog for a swim. Not much of a beach and not very clear water but overall a nice place. It is rocky in the water but the further out you go it gets better. We did encounter a snake in the water but luckily two young boys fished it out. Nice place to go if you want to take your dog for a swim but I wouldn't go back if it was just my husband and I. See more..

3.0Leon Gorman Park(5 reviews) - Tiny park; not much to see Parks
It's an in-town park with not much to see other than some locals walking their dogs or some tourists who thought it was more than it is. 3.0Kezar Falls(4 reviews) - Off the beaten path waterfall Waterfalls
Half the battle may be finding Kezar falls, but when you do you are rewarded with a short hike and a beautiful waterfall cut into the rock. It seems to be a series of "potholes" connected, and if it were warmer might have made for some great swimming. I stayed on the top of the rocks, and there are some chain link fencing to try and keep you from getting into to much trouble. If I had more time or lived in the area, I might have climbed down and explored the falls from the base.See more..

BLUEBERRIES!!!! Highly recommend that you visit Orchard Ridge Farm at 236 Sebago Lake Rd in Gorham Maine!! The blueberries are plentiful and as of today just waiting for your to shake them off the bushes AND they are high bush. Today 8/1/2022 was my second visit this summer. Two of us picked 7 quarts in under an hour. The fee is $4.50 right now by the pound- way more reasonable that anywhere else in southern Maine!! Wear sneakers or comfortable shoes as this is rolling farmland. Take a water bottle too! This was my third visit to ORF but since my first one in 2018 the cute little store has gotten knotty pine paneling, an A/C, jarred goodies like apple butter and sauce from their tomatoes as well as a cool menu!! The BLT on local sourdough it top notch- Thank you Erica I will be going back for pears and apple picking time!!!See more..

After months of planning with the assistance of helpful, polite, knowledgeable and ethical staff and long time locals Thornton and Elizabeth Ring we arrived finally to ick up a ea kayak in late August for a few day ocean excursion. We found the boat selection to be large, equipment in satisfactory condition and service prompt. The boat was loaded onto the roof and in half an hour we were on our way with laminated maps, to be returned. The small office shop area does have a few useful pieces of equipment including handy waterproof floating cellphone sleeves. The large kayak selected was durable but quite heavy and sluggish in the water...but it was needed due to the overnight camping gear in tow. Overall quite a pleasant experience at this fie old establishment!See more..
3.5Springbrook Golf Club(3 reviews) - Great Public Golf Course in the Middle of Lake Country Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
One of the best parts about this golf course is knowing that it is operated by a third generation family that formerly used the land for a dairy farm. The pro shop is in an old post & beam barn that can also host private events. Considering that golf is a seasonal enterprise in Maine, the quality of the greens was amazingly high. The fairway are about what you would expect and with the woods encroaching on all sides, a ball out-of-bounds is lost. If you can stay in the fairways, however, it is a pretty fair course with some challenging holes. The course only plays to 6,300 yards from the black tees so it is quite short. That said there are some water hazards and a stream that runs through the course that require some good course management to get around. The prices are reasonable, seniors $29.00 on the day we played. Add in $15.00 for golf club rentals (an odd collection of mismatched hand-me downs) and you can have a fun day even if you aren't going to shoot your handicap.See more..
