This large flagship store is filled to the brim with all kinds of goodies, including unique items like 'Maine Mud' (sauces made of chocolate, caramel, orange and other flavors), chocolate-covered blueberries, and red gummi 'lobstahs'. We loved that there is so many different crafters and antiques. We happened upon Way Way Store, having made a wrong turn. First we saw the large ice cream cone cut-out and thought, "why not". The building is from the 1920's. It has been a general store and gas station. They sell "penny candy", ice cream, gently used canoes and kayaks, antique wood stoves and baskets. The proprietor told us the fascinating history of the establishment while we enjoyed our ice cream. We watched a small child climb on the same box his father and grandfather climbed upon to choose from the vast selection of candy. The place is a true "blast from the past".
