4.5Monhegan Brewing Company(80 reviews) - Yes! Must Come for a Beer! As Often as You Can! Spent < 1 hour Bars & Clubs
As I learned quickly on Monhegan, getting to everything is an uphill hike, and this place was no different. But so very worth the energy consumed on the way! The setting is excellent, the service is excellent, and they have around 5 beers on a rotating menu. You can get lunch there during the week (we didn't eat there) and dinner on the weekends. It appears that they have a food truck that is open during those times. The beers are great, and lean a little toward dark beers and ipa's, but I had a lovely light golden ale. It was a little hoppy for me, but I also enjoyed the tart beer. They also had a blackberry seltzer for those who didn't drink beer. Dogs are welcome, and it is overall such a happy and friendly environment. Our waitress was Ola, and she was fantastic. Some times there is entertainment, and we were delighted to see a five piece ensemble perform. I recommend coming here very much!See more..
4.0Mulligans - Biddeford(56 reviews) - Ask for Birch - you will not regret it Monday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Bars & Clubs
This is just a great, friendly pub. Great food, amazing wait staff and many, many beers on draft and in bottles. Our waiter "Birch, like the tree" sat down with us and explained what he would and would not order. I followed his direct example and ordered the Mulligan's Club. Instead of turkey, it had fresh chicken. Wow. Just fantastic. The rest of my group ordered fish and chips and said they were great. Go here. Eat here. Ask for Birch.See more..
4.5Barreled Souls(48 reviews) - A great stop Bars & Clubs

4.0The Rack(48 reviews) - Customer Service at it's Finest!!! Bars & Clubs
I have been to the Rack dozens of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed myself - food, drink, atmosphere, bands, staff, all are A+ quality! The last time that I was there (Summer 2020) the manager/part owner was chatting with us and actually took our food order. I asked if they happened to have anchovies for a Caesar salad and he wasn't sure but would check. He literally left the restaurant and ran to the local market to buy anchovies for my Caesar salad. I was shocked! That right there is customer service!!! I honestly cannot visit the valley without stopping at The Rack. Highly recommend!See more..
4.0Sunday River Brewing Company(46 reviews) - Festive and Lively, with Good Food and Brews! Monday: 11:30 AM - 1:00 AM Bars & Clubs
Delicious food, in a fun, trendy, and lively place. The fried scallops and fish were spot-on, and the in-house craft dark beer (Jamaican....something) was super-tasty, much like BJ's Brewery's "Nutty Brewnette". Very tasty and satisfying. The place can get full, and very loud, so it ain't much on romance, amigo....but if you are in a festive mood for good food and a cold draft or four, this is your place.See more..

4.5Steam Mill Brewing(19 reviews) - Great staff and nice outdoor area Spent 1-2 hours Bars & Clubs
My son and I took a friend here on his 60th to have a brew or two. Their blueberry was excellent without an overpowering blueberry taste. The server, owner’s sister, was very friendly and attentive. The two of them were taking care of all patrons. They’ve done a great job with their outside seating. We didn’t eat but folks seemed very happy with their food choices from the food truck. Nothing got thrown away! Would absolutely visit again.See more..
The food here was really good for "mountain food". Menu varied from sandwiches and soups to tacos and burgers ( the black bean burger was really good!). They offer a good variety of specialty drinks, check out the daily specials menu. If the weather is nice, the deck is the place to be.See more..
3.0Pirates Patio(17 reviews) - Decent but very upset with incident... Bars & Clubs
Food was good, the location on the beach was fun and music was nice...here is the BAD. Went with my parents, husband and daughter with my grandkids and son inlaw. My son inlaw is a disabled marine and we had a service dog with us. The party next to our table put $40 dollars down on our tab to thank my so inlaw for his service they thanked him and left. When I bill came the 40 dollar credit was not there. The waitstaff said the woman who left was a regular "drunk" and didnt put money down on our tab. NO way to prove she did, but she did not appear drunk to us. Be believe the waitstaff pocketed the money, very disappointing.See more..

4.5Sport's Inn(13 reviews) - Great service and food! Bars & Clubs My husband and I live in the North Lakes region and usually stay in our area for dinning. We were very happy that we traveled the short distance to the Sports Inn. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was top notch. The lady who took our drink and food order was awesome, very personable and even waited for us to taste our drinks to make sure they were to our liking. We ordered an sampler platter and house special pizza which was amazing. We had multiple people checking on us including the owner making sure that we were happy. The updates to the interior were very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. We will be back with friends and highly recommend this establishment ! .. LikeSee more..

4.0Blizzard's Pub(12 reviews) - Good food, live music, easy find seating Bars & Clubs
After reading reviews saying it.was.expensive I was concerned. But the food was reasonably priced - $13 burger, $8 french soup, total bill for three with beer and.appetizer was under $50. I liked live music and slopes views, place was crowded and since you can't make reservations I was worries we would need to wait for the table but we found one right away. 3.5The Tiki Hut Oob(3 reviews) - A great place to have a frozen cocktail or two. Bars & Clubs
It was a warm sunny day in Old Orchard Beach and perfect for sipping a cocktail on The Tiki Hut's beachfront deck and enjoy the view. We ordered food from the adjacent Tacos N Tails and I had a frozen pina colada that was pretty good even without the whipped cream and cherry (when did bars stop doing that, anyway). Tiki Hut has no food to speak of except maybe snacks, but you can place an order with the server for food from Tacos N Tails (and maybe some other nearby restaurants, I'm not sure). You don't see too many tiki bars in New England, and it felt like we were in the Caribbean.See more..

I have been here a few times when visiting in the area, and usually stop by in the afternoon. My Dad grew up in Lewiston and always talks about walking from his parents home on College Street to the Blue Goose in the 1940's and 1950's. This last visit in September was later at night with family visiting from Germany, and it was awesome! The place was packed with a crowd that was a mix of younger and older people. The beer is reasonably priced, the bathroom graffiti is interesting and the CD jukebox has a wide variety of music. Also, the $1.00 Jell-O shots kept our German visitors entertained. Of course, we will always stop by for a beer when in the LA area.See more..
