Such a great experience! Went as a family with a 14 year old daughter and 11 year old son. We got 2 dig your own buckets, 1 $30 speciality bucket and one $50 specialty bucket. The young man that checked us in was warm and friendly and took the time to explain things to us and show us what to do. We found a lot within the buckets. Tons of quarts and mica, but then red river jasper, howlite, opalite, amethyst, lepidolite, jasper, many varieties of tourmaline just to name a few. It’s gets busy. We got there right before they opened and glad we did. We were able to get space under cover. The kids loved shoveling the material into the sifter, sifting, cleaning and then finding the gems and minerals. We had a great time as a family and would recommend. See more..
