Because it will be of interest to travelers who are quilters. Here is a place to find great fabric at low prices - usually 4.99 a yard. when I went a couple of weeks ago there were many shelves of Kaffe Fasset fabric. they could not advertise the brand but it gives you an idea of what you might find. things change rapidly but I always find something I buy. On another note, when visiting Maine I sometimes find I don't have the right clothing for an event from funerals to cold weather. I have found just what I needed in their clothing but I usually only go for the fabric. There is lots of other stuff there from tools to furniture, etc. Good place to wander on a rainy day.See more..

Shopping several outlet malls and stores in Kittery, I stopped by Yankee Candle. I was looking for a good buy on a mid-sized beeswax or soy jar candle which are all-natural substances. I’ve been avoiding paraffin candles due to concerns over air pollutants as paraffin is a product of petroleum or shale. After looking over a number of candles, I was unable to determine which ones were made with paraffin, beeswax, or soy. They were not clearly labeled. And, the sales associate out on the floor was already busy with two other customers. Although there were several groups of candles at discounts ranging from 20% off to 50% off on holiday items, nothing in particular struck me on this trip. The store was well-stocked. Visiting several outlet malls in Kittery, I came upon Swarovski by chance. I’d seen pieces from this Austrian maker of crystal and glass jewelry and gift items in department stores before. Browsing the store, I saw necklaces, pendants, clip earrings, pierced earrings, shoulder-sweeper earrings, cocktail rings, fashion rings, tennis bracelets, watches, pins, and many more items. The styles ranged from simple and dainty to big and million-watt sparkly. There was something for everyone. Each piece was designed and made with quality craftsmanship. There was one piece that I thought was really cute. It was little crab holding a pearl over his head in his pincers. It was a bit whimsical. I rate my experience at the Swarovski outlet at 4.50.
