Tim McCluskly was a great guide- had a great rapport with our kids and we all laughed a lot throughout the morning. Of course seeing a Moose right at the end made the trip amazing- but we'd like to think we would have still thought it was worth it if we hadn't. The experience of canoeing on such a beautiful serene pond early in the morning was an experience itself. Tim clearly takes pride in his work and we could tell he was intent on doing his best to find a moose and teach us everything he knows about them while we looked. We had a great experience with 201 Power Sports. We rented a 4 person side by side for a 6 hour adventure into the woods of Maine. Mel was very easy to work with and got us all set up for our trip. The machine was brand new and worked well. The trails were a combination of gravel and rocky terrain. The best part was going up to the wind turbines where you had a 360 degree view! Fourth year we have rented the Pontoon boat w slide for the sunset cruise 1.5 hrs went by quick but just enough time for a stop to slide/play in water then 4 long tube rides then one last slide/play stop. My brothers and I had planned a trip to go backpacking in Maine, but were stumped on how to get from Bangor Airport to Baxter State Park with all our gear. Rental cars were nearly non-existent and prohibitively expensive. A Google search for shuttle services turned up Maine Quest Adventures. My initial email to owner Bryant was answered promptly in the affirmative, and all subsequent communication was handled quickly and professionally. Not only was Bryant willing to allow our group to ship some bulkier items to him to hold for our arrival, he even re-arranged his entire schedule to ensure our shuttle when one of our group's airline connections was abruptly changed. It is refreshing these days to find someone who is so dedicated to great customer service! I would highly recommend Bryant and his company to anyone looking for a top quality Maine experience. I took my niece for a 1 hour jet-ski rental for her 16ht birthday and it was awesome! When I called to book I got the day wrong and had to call back and change it 48hrs before our ride. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and helpful and made booking as simple as it could be. When we arrived everyone was great and we got through the paperwork, fitted with life preservers, and on our rides in maybe 10 min. We went through the safety/operating briefing, and we were off. My wife and I and two friends spent the first week of September paddling the St. Croix river with Jason Cross, a Master Maine Guide and founder of Smoking Rivers. This was our second multi-day trip with Jason and even better than the first. We’re lightly experienced canoeists in our late 50s. Jason gave super clear instructions on how to navigate the white water, found glorious camping spots, helped us see everything from beavers to moose to smallmouth bass. And every day he cooked the world’s heartiest meals over the camp fire. We’ve known a half a dozen Maine guides and Jason is one of the most thoughtful, organized and at the same time, easygoing and fun. This was so much fun for a couples getaway! We stayed in late fall and was able to go out ATVing on the trails. I learned they have snowmobile rentals as well through the winter - we will definitely be back! We did a full day rental and they made the entire process seamless and easy to get out on the trails. The staff were helpful in pointing us in the right direction as we are not familiar with ATVing or the area. I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you are new to riding ATVs.See more..

We rented a four seater. It was comfortable and rode nicely for the way out. We went up to Pittson Farm, about 40 miles. We found the map lacking in detail and a bit confusing. The trails were not very well marked as I had read they were. The writing which told you which direction you wanted was faded at best. A compass would have been helpful. The trails were great fun for all of us. We were all alternatively wet and VERY dusty!! On the way back we got a bit mixed up on the trails, so that was a bit stressful, but it was a beautiful day. Unfortunately the engine light came on on the way back, luckily we still made it back! I would do it again and go in different direction.See more..
