I took both the Women's History and the Black History tour, and I learned so much on both of them! Dugan is a captivating tour guide who has so much knowledge about all the topics he is covering and is willing to go the extra mile (literally!) to answer people's questions with enthusiasm. I am from Maine and heard so many stories that never came up in my history classes, and prompted me and my group to go look up all the people Dugan brought up on the tours. 10/10 would recommend taking Dugan's tours!See more..

Took a 2 hour tour with family of 6, including kids ages 4, 7, and 11. It was the highlight of our vacation. Very clean and safe. Great for kids and adults alike. We will definitely make this an annual tradition! Can’t think of a better way to enjoy the ocean and beautiful coastline. See more..

I had the privilege of participating in Sunrise Boat Church this morning with Captains Abby, Bob and Shawn. Such a thoughtful group of people and a very experienced and courteous host. I am inexperienced in how to get on and off a boat but I had nothing to fear, these friends are experts in making their guests feel comfortable. The dock is well lit, the parking is very inexpensive and the dock well lit and welcoming, even at 4:00 a.m. We sailed out into Biddeford Pool for a thoughtful and spirit-filled message to the backdrop of the rising sun. Rev. Abby is an amazing and thoughtful pastor with a message that was just what my soul needed to hear. Upon returning to the dock, I felt compelled to just sit and contemplate the beautiful morning and the message I heard while listening to sounds of the harbor waking up to greet a new day. If you want a unique worship experience, you must try Sunrise Boat Church with Broad Reach Sailing and Maine Tuna Fishing (Miss Megan II).See more..

The hotels selected were first class. The food excellent. Travelled Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Puno, Lake Titicaca, Sillustani and more. My mom and I decided to drive up to Maine for the weekend and have a good time. We took the tour at Special T Adventures to try and see some moose. The tour was great! We got to learn about the area and moose facts. After about an hour and a half of moose searching we had brownies. The brownies were delicious as we ate them looking at the sunset over Moosehead Lake. At the end, we saw a majestic moose cow. Overall, great tour, the guide, Trevor, is a really kind, funny, and knowledgeable guide who is always excited to see a moose. Definitely recommend.See more..
Matt and I went 'moose spotting' on an evening and early morning to expand my photo inventory of critters. While no one can guaranty a moose will show up, or cooperate with the photographer, Matt knew the local spots to search and was diligent and dedicated to my cause which was much appreciated. Captain Ed Bayley was very accommodating to our family. He first fit us into his schedule with little notice, then gave us a great trip. Capt. Ed tried very hard to put us on some fish and we caught a couple different kinds. This was our kids first fishing trip and they all enjoyed it. Would highly recommend Reel Salty Charters.See more..
My wife and I and two friends spent the first week of September paddling the St. Croix river with Jason Cross, a Master Maine Guide and founder of Smoking Rivers. This was our second multi-day trip with Jason and even better than the first. We’re lightly experienced canoeists in our late 50s. Jason gave super clear instructions on how to navigate the white water, found glorious camping spots, helped us see everything from beavers to moose to smallmouth bass. And every day he cooked the world’s heartiest meals over the camp fire. We’ve known a half a dozen Maine guides and Jason is one of the most thoughtful, organized and at the same time, easygoing and fun.
