   *SCAM* They tried to charge us an extra $100 when we arrived for our reservation. The address is a random parking lot where a shuttle is supposed to pick you up. We arrived on time, and there was no shuttle. We tried to call the company multiple times, but the line was busy. Finally, we got someone on the phone, and they said the shuttle was on the way. The shuttle took us to a secondary location, where we waited for another half an hour for our flight. At this time, we were told we would have to pay another $100 for a "late arrival."    Avoid this theater. Spent $35 today at this theater only to sit in sticky seats that did not recline. After the movie I asked to speak to the manager, who said his name was Jessie Galoway, to tell him about the seats that did not recline. His response: “You could have sat in different seats.” That response was inaccurate since I paid in advance for my specific seats and assumed every other person did the same. When I quietly said that I would not be coming back, this manager’s response was that it was fine with him. Unfortunately for this AMC, I live in Freehold and have many friends with whom I will share this story and all of us will take our business elsewhere. See more..

   This bar has gone from being the cool local hangout to one of the worst bars in the area. Owner/bartender is so unfriendly, with absolutely no personality. Since changing hands to the new ownership a few years ago, this bar has gone downhill so fast. Prices have gone up considerably, yet the quality of service has gone down. Seasoned bartenders have been let go and new untrained staff has taken their place. Construction/expansion of the new bar/restarant has been halted, presumably because this business is losing money quickly. Gone are the days when this was a fun, happy local place to hang with friends and family. Friday and Saturday nights used to bring a crowd, now that the owner, Dave, works those nights the place is almost abandoned with the exception of a few local drunks with no place else to go.    This was our first time to "A Time to Kiln" we were greeted and asked if we had been here before. We told them we had gone to a different ceramic place before but never to an "A Time to Kiln": I had a nice time there and my boyfriend, his daughter, and myself and we painted our own ceramics. When we were done we were shocked at how much we had to pay. Our three ceramics came to a total of $64 but we were asked to pay $122.20. They lady had told us that there was a $6 studio fee per person, which we had no problem with. I am not happy that she did not inform us that it was $6 per person/per hour. Especially since we told the lady at the front we had not been to "A Time to Kiln" before. The place we had been to previously only charged us a flat rate studio fee. We paid the $122.20, but unfortunately will not becoming back, because we like taking our time on stuff and don't want to feel rushed to finish out piece. See more..

   My review is only based on the premise that this is a car/truck trail thru the Pine Barrens of NJ (which is how it was sold to me). I decided to try this trail on my way home yesterday (nice day and had time to kill). What the previous review quoted is still accurate over a year later. I got as far as the humming powerlines where I could finally turn around and didn't bother going any further. I have a typical SUV - nothing offroad or fancy, and in some sections of the road I was hoping I wouldn't get stuck in the sand (thank god I didn't have a car cause it would have been a very short trip - and I would have had to back out). I didn't see any markers - I actually kept asking the person I was with if it was private property. I def. won't be back. If I had an ATV/dirt bike, it may be fun. I'm used to upstate PA mountain trails that are maintained -- not paved - just gravel or compact dirt. Something to drive on to enjoy nature. See more..

    We got the package to Woodbury Common. 250 dollars round trip, no extra fees. The problem, Bob (who owns the company) never came back to pick us up. Had to pay extra and get the bus back to New York after waiting for hours for the limo. Bob and his buddy gave some story about the limo being taken away. Then later refused to answer our calls. Said that they would refund us. They new the hotel, our name, room number, phone numbers, everything and after hundreds of promises never turned up. When we got home I emailed and They replied saying they gave the refund to the doorman 'cause it was too busy to call into reception. CAN YOU SMELL IT !!! THE BULLS***. Anyway this was all back in Oct 2007. Don't ever pay the money up front, pay for the first part of the journey and the the rest when the contract is fulfilled.     The Flower business is one that requires reliability and care given the importance of getting it right (funerals, weddings, birthdays, etc.). I would avoid this Flower Shop at all costs. I ordered flowers for a wake on their website, and I even called the day of the wake to reconfirm. The women on the phone told me they did a lot of funeral deliveries that day and yes, mine were delivered. The flowers were not delivered, and apparently she had given me a hurried answer to get off the phone.     I wish I was writing a review of the actual massage, however, I never got that far. After having my initial appointment cancelled the day I was suppose to have a massage, I was rescheduled to 2 days later. I encountered several issues. First, they were not open at 9:30 am as posted. I waited outside for 5 minutes after ringing the bell twice before someone opened it. I was then asked to wait a few minutes. When someone came out, she said that I would need to wait an hour as the other massage therapist took a walk in. So after cancelling my appointment, rescheduling it, they decided it would be prudent to honor a walk in instead. Sure, that's one way to do business. The person discussing this with me kept saying she only worked there and there was nothing she could do and that it wasn't her fault. I had other plans in the day and could not wait an hour, also, I had already moved this appointment at their request. If any of this strikes you as unprofessional, discourteous or at the very least an inconvenience, I would suggest you go elsewhere. They did not respect my time, nor honor the appointment that was made, not once, but twice. You can do better, shame on you. See more..

    I went there a few times and noticed all the damages and it seems like every time I go back more damages have been done and nothing is being done about it. The outside of the theater used to look bad but they fix it which made me assume the fixed all the missing ceilings, broken rows, broken chairs, and cleaned the screens. But nope, they didn't and all the snacks are overpriced. On top of all that it is filthy all the cup holders of the remaining chairs in the theaters are missing and trash is shoved down the hole now. There is piled up of trash in almost all the chairs. You just feel disgusting in there. Something needs to be done about this, it is the only small theater Union has and it's absolutely disgusting. I will not step foot in that theater again until there is a change. Just writing this and thinking about my last experience is making me nauseous. See more..

They were out of two Ales listed on the menu, they have no Crown Royal, Canadian Club or Seagrams 7. They only make burgers and fries now. I am not sure why but I went to see a top notch musician tonight and the extremely limited amount of patrons allowed in sat like cardboard people right in front of the stage. Boring scene, terrible food and no stocked bar. They couldn’t even fill the tables. You had to buy tickets at $25 per seat in tables of 2 ( very limited) or 4. Not sure whats going on here.     The Quarry used to be an oasis of calm, but since being purchased by a nonprofit, it has turned into a glorified day camp for unruly kids. There's not a minute in the day that you can enjoy the once peaceful surroundings of this natural setting. Multiple-day and season passes used to be the only option for swimming here. Now that day passes are sold, the place is completely overrun by mobs of obnoxious teenagers. Parents are more than happy to spend $25 to drop their kid off for the day. During the week, actual day camps have the place until 3 p.m., so you don't want to go then. And don't even think about coming on a weekend or holiday! It's a madhouse. I no longer see families with young children here. The pool is empty most of the time. It's too expensive for families. The snack bar is closed, so there's no affordable food. They sell tiny blobs of gourmet ice cream for $6 and ice sticks for $3. Food trucks sell overpriced, mediocre food on the weekends. Families have to pack their own food and drinks if they want to spend the day, and it's too much trouble. The bathrooms also are closed. A port-a-potty truck is onsite, but the cubicles are too small to allow a parent to help a young child. The nonprofit now owns this place in perpetuity, so this is what to expect going forward. It's a shame. When it was family-owned, this place was a gem. It's a waste of money now to buy a season pass – the camps and day-trippers have priority over those who have spent the most money.
