I have been suffering from a respiratory infection and sick for a week. I've been here before and thought I'd go for a salt room visit to see if that would help the congestion and cough. I felt absolutely awesome after the 45 minute treatment and woke up this morning, breathing easier, cough is diminished and feeling better than I have all week! I am intimidated by attending a yoga class of all fit, young and adept yoga followers. From day one, this place made me feel more than welcome. The instructors are very much aware of every participants level just by the first few minutes of practice. I don't feel like an "outcast" at any of the sessions I attend, and I've been to a few over the past couple of months. Of course, I stick with the sessions I feel that I can accomplish with some form of proficiency. The owner, Alyssa, is very kind, congenial, and hospitable and her instructors are very astute at instructing their class participants to a level that makes them feel accomplished. The classes are 70 minutes long and usually include stretching postures and other poses including standing, sitting and floor exercises. Since it's Body & Brain, there are some exercises that require a little brain work. Roughly the last 20 minutes of the classes involve meditation. The instructors are excellent and always give consideration to each attendees physical limitations, if any. I personally have a few limitations and this practice has really made life living with them easier. The studio is very accommodating and relaxing. They also offer live streamed classes that can be done at home as the class is taking place. This is great if you can't make it the center that day. I recommend this studio for a complete mind and body workout!See more..
