4.5Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir(186 reviews) - Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir was absolutely gorgeous Thursday: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Religious Sites
Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir was absolutely gorgeous and the community of people who ran the temple were very accommodating. My daughter and I went to the temple to experience it and even though it is not 100% done the inner chamber is something to behold. The marble imported from Italy was meticulously carved beautifully and put together piece by piece. The temple itself was as ornate as the Vatican and the vibe was totally positive. One tip is you go, wear pants out of respect, if you come in shorts you will be asked to put on a surong wrap. The temple is about 1/4 the way done with an addition for a reflection pool and more buildings, There are peacocks roaming the grounds with their babies.See more..
4.5Sri Venkateswara Temple(84 reviews) - Serene and beautiful temple Thursday: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Religious Sites
The Venkateswara temple ( Balaji temple) in Bridgewater, NJ is a beautiful temple with a nice Indian architectural structure. Wearing Mask was mandatory though none of the other public attractions insisted on it. The temple is quiet and peaceful inside with idols of most of the Hindu Gods. The main idol is of Venkateswara Swami. On weekends there are lot of devotees . There is ample parking place within the temple's premises. Tasty South Indian snacks are avilable at the temple's canteen. If you are in New Jersey, it is worthvisting the temple.See more..

3.5Glen Rock Gurudwara(3 reviews) - Terrific architecture outside, but disappointing inside. Religious Sites
I few months ago my wife and I were lucky enough to be invited into this magnificent building in a residential section of this lovely suburban town of Glen Rock. Food is always being served to all visitors--often a delicious vegetarian version of dal. We got a quick explanation of the important points of the Sikh religion along with a tour of the structure, which is currently under expansion. The interior of the building, although relatively new, looks like it already needs some renovation work, but is worth seeing nonetheless. Huge parking lot in front.See more..
The church of “St. John on the Mountain” is a lovely Episcopal house of worship located in the hills of Bernardsville. This beautiful older stone church with its magnificent stained glass windows is dated 1907 above the chapel entrance. What makes this church unique is the modern designed interior of the main worship area; a blend of new and old. What brought us here was “The Mountain Art Show” annually hosted by the church in October. The art show features both juried and non-juried works of art from local and nationally known artists. The drive from route 202 to St. John on the Mountain is very scenic, and rather steep & narrow in areas.See more..
we always visit this temple in Durga Puja or Kali Pujo. this is Bengali temple and it has its branches all over India. big hall room having all god's idols ( Ram Ji-Sita Ji-Laxman Ji-Hanuman Ji-Vishnu Ji-Laxmi Ji-Krishna-Radha-Shankar Ji-Parvati Ji-Kali maa-Saraswati maa-Ganesh Ji-Durga Maa. quite peaceful and pious environment. its gets crowded in Durga Puja and getting parking is really difficult thought management arranges to park nearby. In the basement, activities take place. They have their website where activities list are placed and they are very punctual about timings of Puja. Unlike other Pujas in NJ, they don't force you to make a donation ( though we do our part whenever we visit). if you are in a nearby area, you should consider coming to this temple once. we love to keep coming hereSee more..

After both the 8 am (spoken) & 10 am (with music) services, there is hospitality and conversation in the parish hall. You'll find the people warm and welcoming in this 121 year old parish.See more..
