Reviewing the restaurant. Maybe the best oxtail I ever had, unbelievably tender. The pineapple jerk chicken was also great, cooked perfectly. The sides, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and plantains were great. Our friends are veggies and they loved the collard greens. The biggest problem was that the servings were huge and we're going to be eating this stuff all week. See more..

We went to this local jazz venue not knowing what to expect and were delighted with the performers that evening. The singers were terrific, the keyboard, drum and base guitar performers were terrific and the sax and flute were fabulous. Two people requested that Stephen Fuller sing Old Man River and we were blown away. He performed the best rendition of this that I have ever heard. What a joy. As part of the price of entry, coffee, tea and desserts are served. What a great discovery. See more..

So glad this club made it through the worst of times. You walk in and you know this is a sacred space for jazz enthusiasts. Lots of artists find their way here traveling to New York or Philadelphia. The club is open Thursdays and Saturdays with a cover and drink minimum. With that you get a buffet of satisfying food , usually a green salad, veggies with dip, chicken, rice, and dessert. Most people show up early enough for a coveted spot at the bar. You can also enjoy the fresh air outside with the music piped in. Just a solid hang out joint for locals and those who love good music. See more..
