OMG! This place is fantastic! Did not realize that this is as big as it is. There are several ramps that take you to view the scenery along the way as well as to look down. Last week we were babysitting our grandchildren and I had to transport them to the birthday party at Pinot's Palette, Somerville. Since I didn't know anybody my original thought was to wait for kids somewhere else. No way!!! The place was super! The teachers Mariya and Sonya were awesome!!! All kids had a great time and their parents (me included) also enjoyed fun experiences. I highly recommend this place! I plan on going back with kids soon.See more..

Thursday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Paint & Pottery Studios This was our first time to "A Time to Kiln" we were greeted and asked if we had been here before. We told them we had gone to a different ceramic place before but never to an "A Time to Kiln": I had a nice time there and my boyfriend, his daughter, and myself and we painted our own ceramics. When we were done we were shocked at how much we had to pay. Our three ceramics came to a total of $64 but we were asked to pay $122.20. They lady had told us that there was a $6 studio fee per person, which we had no problem with. I am not happy that she did not inform us that it was $6 per person/per hour. Especially since we told the lady at the front we had not been to "A Time to Kiln" before. The place we had been to previously only charged us a flat rate studio fee. We paid the $122.20, but unfortunately will not becoming back, because we like taking our time on stuff and don't want to feel rushed to finish out piece.See more..

Allow extra time for finding parking. The painting classes are 2 or 3 hours long, and you cannot park on Rock Road near the storefront for that length of time.
