    Heading to points north out of New York City, drove the Palisades Interstate Parkway and after passing a couple of scenic view turnouts, we stopped at the third one. Wow! Looking south down the Hudson, you can still see the Manhattan skyline. And looking north, you can see the Tappan Zee Bridge (now Cuomo Bridge). We ran into a couple of birdwatching groups set up to count and photograph the birds seen on this autumn day. There is a visitors center with a cafe, gift shop, and restrooms. See more..
