What a beautiful venue! Being here was my first time in NJ. My fiance and I traveled here to see Ace Enders play a super small and more intimate show. Had to only be about 50+ tickets sold. The show was done by tables so we had to purchase a table of 4 for the 2 of us but it was SO worth it. The show was on their side patio. They had drinks and snacks available by table service. The sound was great, the show was so amazing and I am so grateful to have gotten to see someone I had admired since I was in high school so close in front of me and singing my favorite songs. The venue itself was so clean and nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was nice - a lot right down the street has cheap parking you can pay by card. If there is something I was to see here again, I will definitely go. We need more small patio shows like this!See more..

This was my second time to the Pitman Theatre and it won’t be my last. Mary Popins was wonderful. From the cast, the singing, the sets, special effects and the tap dancing with the chimney sweeps was absolutely enchanting! I took my Goddaughter that is five and we both had a wonderful time. It’s a small theatre with no bad seats that I could see! The price was perfect compared to what I have paid in Philadelphia and NYC! You made a believer outta me! We have been coming here over thirty years. Fabulous mix of entertainment including icons of the music industry. Something here for everyone. Easy free parking. Restaurant Solaia next door so eat here and walk next door to the theater. Great acoustics and comfortable seats. Tip: Ask if there is temporary seating because many times they place three rows of padded folding chairs in front of the regular fixed seats so if you are in the first row of the fixed, you may find there are three rows ahead of you and will be disappointed. I suggest the best seats are the temporary ones in the first row . If you get the second or third row, you will see heads because all three rows are level whereas the fixed seats have a gradual elevation rise. UNDERSTAND!? We try and get the aisle on the side because that way the aisle separates you such that you see no heads and it is an easy exit. I just gave you a real pearl so be grateful for my experience in selecting seats!!See more..

Made my first trip to the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse last night for the Christmas show. It was a phenomenal evening. The food was great. The service was great. The performers and the orchestra were great. The place was decorated beautifully. We were a party of 18 (half of us Christian; half of us Jewish), and as a jewish girl myself, the first thing i noticed when i walked in was the Christmas tree topped with a Star of David. There were also a couple of references in the show about Hanukkah, which was greatly appreciated, as my holiday is usually not recognized.See more..

The Delsea Drive-In is wonderful. I've literally never had a bad experience there. I've gone with a girl to see action movies. I've taken my son to see children's movies. I've taken my family to see Marvel movies. It's always been great. Even if my son can't make it to the 10:30 start of the second movie, I never feel like I've wasted my money. Unfortunately, when you search the Delsea Drive-In, the first hit that comes up is a 1 star review saying the Delsea Drive In searches your car for other food. Yes, they do. They make it totally clear that no outside food is allowed in without paying for a food permit. However, for $20, you can bring four pizzas, three orders of fries, and a two-liter bottle of soda. Confiscating food is an inconvenience. They once took two unopened cases of water from me, and held them until the end of the show. But it doesn't change my feelings on the experiences I've had there.See more..

Large ugly building with no free parking in site so I was immediately turned off. Got in a long line because we had tickets-there was no line or wait in the no tickets line. It was annoying to see people streaming past me who hadnt planned ahead like I did. Once I got inside I was actually quite suprised at how nice it was. Beautiful large room with two bar areas in the back. The area behind the bar had a large mirror so I didnt miss a thing while waiting for a drink. Although it was a large crowd the wait for a drink was never more than a minute. They wont let you remove drinks from that area so plan ahead if you want to get in front of stage. If you are there for a show I think you will feel like you always have a good view, I would definitely return and would have my tickets waiting at the will call booth!See more..

We have been fans of George Street for years. Artistic Director, David Saint has been bringing high quality productions to the central New Jersey area for some 20 years now. He has a knack for obtaining good plays and then getting fine stage actors to work with him. Saint often directs the play too, as his does with the wonderful current production of "Mama's Boy" starring the gifted Betsy Aidem. The George is small ---about 300 seats--- but the tiered rows means there is not a bad seat in the house (see photos). I am also always impressed with what the set designers do with the limited space available to them. The ticket prices are quite reasonable making George Street a great value, too. Yes, it's an old building but they make it work. There's even a comfortable lounge with drinks and snacks available for purchase. Parking is a challenge in New Brunswick. First time visit at the Levoy and WOW- amazing! We came for the showing of Sweeney Todd. Street parking/free parking lot behind the building. Beautiful & clean inside. The acoustics in the theatre are very good and there are many choices of movies playing. The lines are usually long at the food concession so you have to allow time before the start time of your movie. They also have the new soda machines with a lot of flavors of soda: my favorite is the Diet Coke with Raspberry and my son-in-law likes their Coke with Vanilla. On a Saturday at noon all was perfect. We were able to buy the tickets in a self-service booth since at that time they -rightfully - do not have any ticket cashiers open.
