    We decided to take a day trip this summer and we chose Legends Riding Stable. When I called they told me it would be an hour ride and made their farm sound amazing. However when we arrived the farm appeared very old and not up kept very well. The staff was less then friendly...quite opposite then on the phone. The stables looked dirty and the horses tired. None the less the ride itself was pleasant and the guide gave some interesting information. It was very disappointing though that the ride itself was only 40 minutes. It took 20 minutes to get the group saddled in their horses and those 20 minutes counted towards the hour experience. We were happy to get to have a ride and we made the best of it but probably will not return. See more..

    We visited Echo Lake Stables this morning and we were treated to a wonderful experience. We are staying at a resort in the area that offers horseback riding but from recent reviews, did not live up to expectations. Anyway, we decided to go with Echo Lake and it did not disappoint. The owners, Kathy and John, along with their staff, were probably the nicest, down to earth people we’ve ever met. My daughter and her friend, both 11, along with myself, went on a hour long ride up and down a beautiful, peaceful mountain. The views were outstanding!! If you are in the area, and are considering horseback riding, please give them a consideration. You will not be disappointed! We are already planning a return visit soon for their evening ride/ hayride/bbq! See more..

    This place is amazing. This is definitely a must do. Janet our instructor was amazing and was communicated very well with us. I was one a horse about 20 years ago yet when I got on Montana, with Janets instructions, I felt like I was a pro. My husband rode on Huston and he also felt in control and confidence the whole time. The trail she took us on was beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in riding a horse. I can’t wait to go back. See more..

    Great time! Dawn is fantastic. She did everything to make us comfortable and we really enjoyed talking with her on the ride. The horses are breathtaking, nice and plump and very sweet, not the normal tired hack horses often found with trail riding. She said she has some really unique things to do like summer camp, off site rides, Easter egg and pumpkin patch hunts and the farm even has one pig, one goat, one black sheep and one duck.
