    - A good place to walk your kids
Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Gardens • Playgrounds
    Brookdale Park image
This park does not have ducks and geese, so the grass is clean. Plus, many huge trees provide a lot shade. The rose garden is small but beautiful. Unleashed dogs are limited in a dogs park in the Brookdale park. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy sunny weekends with kids, this definitely is a perfect park. I personally recommend the grass near the rose garden. See more..

Absolutely love this park! The walkway along the bay is so beautiful. Wednesday's you can see the sailboats from Perth Amboy's yacht club sailing around the lighthouse. During the summer the county provides free concerts at the gazebo each Wednesday night. They have a great play area with swings and gym set for the little ones and public restrooms. I love just sitting on a bench by the water enjoying the beauty of the water. And the best part is it's only moments from home... See more..

We were doing some leaf peeping in New Jersey, and found this spot by chance. What luck! The weather was perfect -- a day after rain -- and the sky was a brilliant blue. The trees were beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow, and the view under the GW Bridge toward the NYC Skyline was simply magical. Weather permitting: A wonderful place for a picnic, or just a beautiful drive. Enjoy! See more..
