We go to Millers every year for our Annual fall horse back ride. The horses are all friendly and know the trail. The ride is an hour through the woods. I'm sure if you dropped the reins the horses would take you back to the start while staying in line. One guide rides in front and one in the back. it's only $30.00 for the hour ride and for us worth it to be horseback. All children 16 under need to wear a helmet as mandated by NJ, everyone else is optional. Can't treat the riding horses but can the Clydesdales, goat and donkey. See more..
  2. 5.0 Equestrian Center (1 review)
    - Have a daughter who loves horses?
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Equestrian Trails
The Mercer County Equestrian Center is a nice place to let your daughter (or son) pet a friendly horse's nose. In the hot days of summer they are in their stalls all day and turned out in the pasture at night, so they will be happy to have visitors. The manager is nicely safety conscious, so you are not allowed in the stalls with the horses, but they come to the stall door to greet visitors. You can arrange a riding lesson if you like (call in advance), and they have tentative plans to begin trail rides this summer. There are various camps and special day activities over the summer, including a day camp for ages 6-11 that starts in July. See their web site. See more..
