This ferry is easy to get to. Parking is right across the street in a garage. There is a great view of the NYC skyline as we approached from the river. There is a snack bar and a bar in the New Jersey Imperial terminal. The ticket includes a bus ride in Manhattan that got us within a few blocks of our destination. We got a ride back to the NY terminal by flagging down the bus on the route in the city. The bus locator was no help, since it is not updated in real time. But, overall, as an occasional visitor, this is my favorite way to get to NYC. See more..

Just had the most amazing and magical sunset hot tub boat with @seathecity on the Hudson. I have worked for Disneyland for 34 years so I have a high standard for “magical”. This exceeded magical and I cried a few times looking at the sunset over the city and Lady Liberty. I highly recommend this tour at 4:00 to see the sunset blend into night. Just....pure magic. We booked for my boyfriends birthday and had a fantastic experience! Gregg was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the safety instructions and tips. You can't beat the amazing views you get from the tour, from the world trade, to statue of liberty to the Brooklyn bridge. it helped that the water was quite calm and it was a sunny gorgeous morning. They said that the mornings were the best time to go as much calmer waters- so if you can- go in the morning! We both thoroughly enjoyed the time and was a great birthday activity.
