2 Star Places To Visit in Missouri, United States (23)
2.5Shrine Circus(32 reviews) - Circus Game & Entertainment Centers
The athletes are amazing. Such strength and grace. I love seeing them everytime. I cannot handle seeing the animals anymore. One lion was running with it's butt real low like it expecting to be hit. Our family will not be returning until the animals are out of the show.See more..
Possible the worst place I’ve every stayed. There are facilities but it would be no difference in using the restroom in the woods. Have to bring your own toilet paper. No showers. Was completely flooded for the most part and staff is next to useless and rude. Wrist band also was cheaply made and fell off. Had to pay double even thou same person gave me the wristband. Camp sites not marked and basically a free for all which lead to many people wondering through ours. Very disorganized the rate was 15$ a Person for basically nothing. Also due to heavy rain they wouldn’t allow me to use my own boats/raft to put in at there location and get out at there other locations. Insisted it was a liability and had to use there equipment for extra money. The public let in was 100 yards away carried my gear to that boat ramp. Be aware this organization has many places along the elk. Kozy kamp, wayside, shade beach and others.See more..
2.0Warrenton Outlet Center(20 reviews) - Pretty Good Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Factory Outlets
You can buy direct from the manufacturer at great savings on merchandise for the entire family.See more..
Float trip. Rafts that are full of patches leaked air. Room smelled. They don’t provide sheets or towels for a one bed cabin at almost $200 for two nights. We were not made aware of this when booking our stay. Dusty dirt roads. Bar and grill had some good food and great entertainment but lack of adequate air conditioning kept us away. We had a good time but will choose another outfitter next time. See more..
2.5Exeter Corn Maze(10 reviews) - Best Fall fun around Springfield Game & Entertainment Centers
Well, it’s not “by Springfield “ but an hour and a half away. But, we’ve been to all the other Corn Maze’s and such and this place has it all! Haunted houses, zip lines, funnel cakes, barn swings, a good go cart track, zombie paintball!!! It’s a drive but we went on Sunday and it was not packed at all. So much fun!!See more..
2.5The Offsets(5 reviews) - Amazing Hidden Gem Bodies of Water

2.0Whispering Oaks Winery(4 reviews) - Not Open As Advertised Thursday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards Was traveling through the area and wanted to try local wines. We had a brochure for this winery and stopped. The sign and brochure said they would open at noon. We sat in our car in the parking lot until 12:05 before leaving. I thought for sure an employee would arrive at least fifteen minutes before the winery opened, but no one showed up. Later, a local resident informed me the winery is family owned and suggested the family was "just late." To the owners, I'd like to say open on time or hire employees to cover when needed. To tourists, I'd suggest calling ahead, especially if you're just passing through, as we were.See more..
2.0U Bought It Auction(4 reviews) - Rudeness and disrespected Spent < 1 hour Factory Outlets • Flea & Street Markets Rudeness rudeness rudeness Don't give him your business. 2.0Wehrenberg Mid-Rivers 14 Cine(4 reviews) - Poor management and run down facility Thursday: 9:30 AM - 10:45 PM Spent 2-3 hours Theaters My wife and I have been attending shows at this location on a regulr basis for over a year now and the theater continues to get worse. This past visit the floor was sticky from a soda spill and was left overnight, it was the first movie time of the day.The concession area has debris on the counter top and the floors in general were not swept. The wait to get concessions was long I finally left and went to my seat. Three employees were on duty one ticket sales, one concession worker and one very rude and unhelpful manager . The magical movie rewards, keep track everytime you go to the movies because your points magically disappear. Very un happy movie goer and now looking for a new cleaner and theater.See more..
2.0White Rose Winery(4 reviews) - Horrid experience Wineries & Vineyards My friends and I went to the winery yesterday for the day. We spent over $350 but were treated like absolute crap by the female owner. She came out yelling at us, yes literally yelling at us. We bought LivingSocial coupons and wanted to come taste the wine and have a picnic. We do this at all the local wineries. She made us feel completely unwelcome and how dare we show up without calling because she "could have had a wedding". Did I mention that there was no wedding?! Our group was not that big that you should have to call the head. I wished she would've behaved that way before we bought 14 bottles of wine! We felt stuck there, awkwardly finished a very quick picnic, and then left. But not before she could make additional comments to us about being lucky there wasn't a wedding and we should have called ahead. We will never go back there ever again! It's a shame because the wine is good.See more..

2.5HighWay 21 Bar & Grill(2 reviews) - Great time Bars & Clubs Saw the review and tried to say it was unhelpful. This place is a good dive bar where everyone knows everyone. They sever food and great drinks. It has an outdoor area with a big firepit. I made alot of friends going there.See more..
2.5Relics(2 reviews) - Nice Array of Antiques Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops This antique mall is just off the Mount Vernon exit on Interstate 44. We liked the vast array of antiques offered. The only glitch in our visit was clerk on duty at the time of our visit. She was not the most friendly or helpful individual. When we asked were something was, she answered in a vague disinterested way. That said, we did enjoy our visit and found a few things we liked.See more..
2.5R J's(2 reviews) - A true early western experience Thursday: 10:00 AM - 1:30 AM Bars & Clubs This place has a lot of history and its like stepping back in time when you enter. Its not for the snooty. You either love it or hate it and theirs plenty of places for the haters to go elsewhere. If you want a taste of the 1800s this is the place for you.See more..
2.0Westwood Billiards(1 review) - Unfriendly Bars & Clubs Me and a buddy went down that way to do a little shopping for fishing supplies. We decided to go to Westwood for a burger and a beer after we picked up our equipment. We walk in and set at the bar. The waitress/barmaid was at the bar talking to I'm assuming was one of her friends and left us just setting there for over 10 minutes until I asked if we could please get something to drink. We where the only 4 in the entire place!! We ordered burgers and fries which turns out wasn't bad but the service stayed the same the entire time we where there and as more people came in it got worse. We where in kind of a mood to unwind a little but couldn't get waited on so we had to go to Coltons to finish up. If I would have know this I would have went there to start. It wasn't the cleanest place in the world either. See more..
2.0Kings River Golf Course(1 review) - It's like playing golf in my backyard Golf Courses About 30 miles from Branson, MO, this course is about 3 towns over at the end of a farm road. Basically, it is a low end public course (play all day for $30) but even that value could end up hurting you. The fairways are nothing more than just regular grass and weeds mowed short with lots of rocks and bumps and holes. You will get NO roll on drives as the fairways are only cut in landing areas with all other areas with higher grass which plays like rough. Tee areas had very high rough grass which made hitting with woods very hard unless you have super long tees. NO cartpaths on the course just some very loose bumpy rocks and holes. I felt like I needed an all terrain vehicle not a golf cart. The greens on the front nine are very average and holey but playable, however the back nine the greens are horrible with a few burned greens and many in bad shape. I just quit putting on the bad nine. Playing the front nine would only be good for your game if you need to practice mountain golf and to get used to slopes and elevation but you will not get better with your swing as every and I mean every lie is uneven and difficult to hit under the ball. Putting is fairly straight on every hole so not too much challenge other than the bumpy greens. I played 18 and then left as to play more out there is just not helping my swing or my game. Maybe for beginners or kids it would be okay as a day activity and the views are nice but for any serious player please skip[ this one and just play in town in the afternoon on a real course and get a discount there. Also they do NOT have a snack bar or restaurant for food, just pre-made packaged sandwiches out of a cooler like 7-11 so bring your own. You will do your patience and your swing a favor if you just skip this one.See more..
We'd been reading about this scenic drive for almost a year and finally drove it. What a let down it was! Many articles had rated it as one of the Top 10 drives in Missouri. There was nothing really scenic at the 2 scenic pull offs. The lake was closed and there was nothing much to see. Very disappointed. See more..
2.0Confetti's(1 review) - Confused?!? Bars & Clubs • Dance Clubs & Discos Mind you, the decor is updated from the 30 year run of class reunion. The problem is the music. DJs not consistent in the genre. Top 40-Hip Hop-Little EDM-Line dances. Older to newer. Most of the older crowd has fled to Touché in OP & Funky Town in KC. The DJs should stick to one type of music & they would have regulars like class reunion did. The club air is pretty decent for a club that allows smoking. Drink prices are average. They have competition down the street at Vertigo for the young crowd. Did New management do any market research? If you like to dance, this is your place with hit & miss music. Take a posse with you & make song requests. See more..
2.0Stephen J. Sun Conservation Area(1 review) - limited access and size. Nature & Wildlife Areas Would not be of interest to any one except a hunter and given the limited size and access points only local people would likely be apt to go there.See more..
