"Matching the beauty of Top of the Rock is the Tom Fazio designed Buffalo Ridge Springs Course (formerly Branson Creek Golf Club). Already acclaimed as the region’s top golf course, Buffalo Ridge has been transformed by the guiding hands of visionary conservationist Johnny Morris and renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. Adding new approaches, water features and bunkers, Morris and Fazio have redesigned the course layout to bring players in close contact with nature, native grasses and free-ranging buffalo from nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. The course has been rated the #1 Public Course in Missouri by Golf Magazine and has been named one of the Top 10 Missouri Courses by Golf Digest since 2001. The course holds a Golf Digest rating of 4.5 stars out of 5."See more..

4.0Eagle's Bluff Golf Course(6 reviews) - 18 hole course with great views of the Mississippi Valley Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
This is an 18 hour course somewhat hidden south of Clarksville. It can be a challenge to play there, but it is inexpensive to play, not real busy, and it is very beautiful and peaceful. It is probably 45 minutes to an hour drive from I70 up Hiway 79, but it is worth the time to try it. Lot of hills, water features, and trees make it a beautiful course. Maintenance could be a little better, but there is a lot of activity going on to improve the courseSee more..

5.0Persimmon woods golf club(4 reviews) - Challenging beautiful course Golf Courses This is our home course so, understand, I may be a little bit biased but we love this course. The layout is varied and challenging. I really like being able to walk this course easily. I also like the fact that there are no homes on the course. This is a private golf course and not a country club (no pool no tennis courts) so the emphasis is on GOLF! The staff is great and Mike does a wonderful job with dinning, but again, the emphasis is GOLF. Love this club.See more..
4.0Ozark Ridge Golf Course(3 reviews) - A must experience golf course. Golf Courses We played yesterday 09/08/22 and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. the course is exceptionally well manicured, mowed, and trimmed where needed. The greens were fairly fast with some tricky undulations. Co-players said traps were testy but fair. This course is one of Missour's best kept secrets. I would rate it above Dalhousie Golf course, which we played two weeks ago, for the above average golfers.See more..

5.0The Links at Dardenne(1 review) - Above average golf course Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses This is a public country club offering golf and dining with a full service pro shop. The course offers a large assortment of tees so all levels of player can enjoy the course. The fairways and greens are generous with 1" ruff. The layout is attractive offering good views of the surrounding forests and homes. The fees are moderate and tee times are available on line. I recommend using a gps on the first visit; it is 15 minutes from Chesterfield MO. But it is tucked attractively into a residential area.See more..

5.0Triple Creek Golf Course(1 review) - You will be amazed Golf Courses Whether you are an avid golfer or a duffer like me; you can't help but be amazed, and impressed, to find a golf course so beautiful, so immaculately maintained, & so reasonably affordable in a small town like Cole Camp! Don't misunderstand me; Cole Camp is a charming town, with a lot to offer visitors. You just don't expect to find such a well kept golf course as well. I have played courses from Kansas City to Columbia; Clinton to Marshall, & there are some fine courses out there - none are better maintained than Triple Creek! I am certain that there are golfers that might argue that there are golf courses more challenging than Triple Creek, and frankly, there probably are; but I'll stand by my conviction that none are better kept. Add the beauty & the price and you have one heckofa deal!! Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.See more..

5.0Backwoods Golf(1 review) - Great Time even without Golf Experience Thursday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Golf Courses With very limited golf experience, my wife and I decided to try Backwoods on a date night. It was a great time, and all around experience. I reserved our stall through the website, and when we showed up, they were ready for us. It took only a few minutes to create our profiles inside, and then we were shown to our stall outside. The TopTracer technology allowed us to have some friendly competitions while trying to do our best to get the balls down range. . Our server was awesome, and checked in on us constantly. Our food and drinks arrived in a very timely manner. I will note that we went on a Saturday night at 5pm, so this might be prior to their peak busy time. We look forward to going back, and will probably take friends next time.See more..
5.0Fourche Valley Golf Club(1 review) - Challenging par36, 9 hole course. Golf Courses Enjoy the beautiful Ozark landscape as your just trying to keep your ball in play. 4.0New Madrid Country Club(1 review) - " Nice Cheap Little Course " Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses We visited the New Madrid Country Club. The course is a smaller than most courses and is nine holes, with tree-lined Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens. They also have a a clubhouse with fine dining, and a banquet room. Weekday Greens Fee (18 Holes) are only $15. I wish they had this course in San Diego !See more..
2.0Kings River Golf Course(1 review) - It's like playing golf in my backyard Golf Courses About 30 miles from Branson, MO, this course is about 3 towns over at the end of a farm road. Basically, it is a low end public course (play all day for $30) but even that value could end up hurting you. The fairways are nothing more than just regular grass and weeds mowed short with lots of rocks and bumps and holes. You will get NO roll on drives as the fairways are only cut in landing areas with all other areas with higher grass which plays like rough. Tee areas had very high rough grass which made hitting with woods very hard unless you have super long tees. NO cartpaths on the course just some very loose bumpy rocks and holes. I felt like I needed an all terrain vehicle not a golf cart. The greens on the front nine are very average and holey but playable, however the back nine the greens are horrible with a few burned greens and many in bad shape. I just quit putting on the bad nine. Playing the front nine would only be good for your game if you need to practice mountain golf and to get used to slopes and elevation but you will not get better with your swing as every and I mean every lie is uneven and difficult to hit under the ball. Putting is fairly straight on every hole so not too much challenge other than the bumpy greens. I played 18 and then left as to play more out there is just not helping my swing or my game. Maybe for beginners or kids it would be okay as a day activity and the views are nice but for any serious player please skip[ this one and just play in town in the afternoon on a real course and get a discount there. Also they do NOT have a snack bar or restaurant for food, just pre-made packaged sandwiches out of a cooler like 7-11 so bring your own. You will do your patience and your swing a favor if you just skip this one.See more..
