We went as a family of 5 and while they said we could’ve had all 3 kids with us in one golf cart, we decided to take 2. The kids loved it and we enjoyed the sights as well. You can’t get out of the golf cart when you’re in the cave but there are lots of photo spots to get out around the rock formations and waterfalls outside. To get to the museum you hop on a 5 minute shuttle and it runs often so we didn’t have to wait long. The museum was pretty extensive. Great day on the river. We spent about 5 hours on the river to include a 30 minute lunch stop. James River Outfitters provided good equipment. We rented 2 kayaks and a 6 man raft at a fair price. The river had a nice gentle flow to it and was shallow, so only the small kids needed life jackets. Only caveat was the hour long wait to get on the bus in the morning. We arrived at about 10 with our trip already booked and waivers filled out online and waited until about 11 before we were transported to the start point. There were only a few other groups there. A bit more efficiency in the operation could have got us on the water 30 minutes earlier. It was a great trip and if we come back to Branson we will likely do it again.See more..
I promise you all these bad reviews are true ! Do not believe the story he posts about guides from other hunting farms posting them. We booked a 4 day gun hunt during prime rut. First day we didn’t see a deer ! Second day I saw 2. 3rd day I saw 5. 4th day I just left ! The others didn’t see much more. Darrin Bradley is MIA & you will never meet him. One of the guys in camp shot a buck that was 2” to small and he was fined $750 ! The stands are old and extremely unsafe. There were prob 25+ hunters in camp and only 2 guys got shooter bucks. Please don’t waste your money on this place !!!!! The lodging and food was the only good thing. The guides did try but there are hardly no deer on these over hunted/ pressured farms. They don’t keep running camera so once you arrive they show you old pictures. Also all the crops on the farms have been harvested so there was no reason for the deer to come into the open fields they had us setting on !!See more..
This was my 3rd or 4th time to hunt with Treasure Island Outfitters in Hornersville, MO., and we had an absolute blast, literally. This operation is 100% professionally operated from the owners down to the guides. I was with my brother in law and a few friends and I do not know how many times they told me how accommodating Treasure Island Outfitters were. They work their tails off to give you the best duck hunting experience you could ask for. To me, their number one priority was to make sure we were having a great time regardless of our hunting success. On our hunt, we had great hunts that were very successful in filling our bag limits and building relationships. A lot of guide operations say they want to be your choice when choosing a duck guide, but Treasure Island Outfitters will prove it.See more..
What an amazing and personalized way to finish up our family spring break getaway! Wayland and Sabra were fantastic hosts on our UTV adventure thru the sites of Eminence Missouri. They couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating on our tour. We wanted to take our kids to see the wild horses of Shannon County and they delivered! We saw a beautiful herd of wild horses, checked out waterfalls and climbed rocks. It was the best part of our trip west! See more..
