5.0Central Public Library(191 reviews) - One of most beautiful examples of architecture in STL Libraries
Simply stunning architecture that no one on the planet should miss! The staff in every room greeted us warmly and let us wander as we wanted... There were several people sitting and reading --- enjoying the quiet and beauty. Only one room was loud and the two women working there didn't feel compelled to ask the patron to turn off his loud cell phone. We simply left that room when we saw they either didn't have the authority to do anything or maybe were too scared of the guy to do anything. I'm so happy we toured this gem!See more..

4.0The Library(27 reviews) - Upscale Bar with an amazing Owner!!! Libraries
My family had the pleasure of holding my niece's wedding at The Library with 2 days notice!!!! The Owner, Miss Kathy, was kind enough to open the bar on a Sunday for the venue and for some tasty libation! The bar itself is absolutely beautiful with a great mix of furnishings and decorations. Lots of space for dancing; drinking and fun!!!!!! Great story about the books from the Limbaugh Library! It's nice to know a little bit of "hometown" got to stay in the area. Miss Kathy could not have been a more gracious and fun bartender! She really helped make my niece's day special! We can't thank her enough! For anyone visiting Cape, be sure to stop and have a few drinks at The Library and say "HI" to Miss Kathy, you will be glad you did!!See more..

4.5Webb City Public Library(2 reviews) - Wonderful Carnegie Library Spent 1-2 hours Libraries We were surprised to find this wonderful old Carnegie Library in Webb City. We walked inside and the librarian told us that the original old section was upstairs, and it was truly unique. The ceiling was beautiful and it was a great place to quietly walk around and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the library. We also found some great videos that we will have to look for in our local library when we get home, because we were just vacationing in Carthage and couldn't check them out.See more..
