4.5Jacob's Cave(56 reviews) - Jacob's Cave is a gateway to the living planet Earth Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
Jacob's Cave is an amazing place. There is no way to get a sense of what it is like inside a cave like this one from photographs or videos. Time slows to a crawl inside of a cave. An inch of stalagmite might be 100 years in formation. Yet there is life, and there are indications of the presence of other humans, from years or centuries past. Perhaps most amazing of all is the sense of being encompassed within the Earth and feel its organic nature. The Earth is a living thing, it sustains life, and without it the universe is uninhabitable to us. Going inside the Earth is the best way to feel its own organic existence, and so to better understand our relationship with it. And lastly, hands down, Jonna was without question the most impressive tour guide I have experienced, in a lifetime. Her knowledge and passion were most inspiring.See more..
Don is a very knowledgeable guide and we appreciated learning about the cave from him. It was Jan and the cave was pretty cool-felt like 50’s and I could see my breath, water 40’s. Thankful he warned us to wear coats. They provided everything you need from the kayak, paddle, life vest, 2 pair gloves, headlamp. Luckily I took my own seat/back cushion-my friends did not and they weren’t as comfy as me. They also had small lap tarps to keep you dry. Another group joined us and they were late getting there, so we weren’t on the water by noon and therefore it was 3 instead of 2:30 finish- nothing our guide could do about the late arrivals. Drove right to the cave via the directions provided by them. This is a unique experience! The water is calm so the kayak part is easy, the sitting for 3 hrs without much movement may get you if you don’t have a cushion which I used behind my back so I wasn’t leaning back.See more..
4.0Ozark Caverns(16 reviews) - The waterfall in this cave alone is worth the price of admission. Caverns & Caves
We have been to many many caves on our vacations, but we have never seen a formation like the Angel Showers in Ozark Cavern. Water falls from the ceiling in a sort of shower-head way, and it lands on a depression that resembles a bathtub. Words can't describe how cool it was. The cave is in a very natural state, not lit artificially at all. The tour is done using hand held lanterns which gives it a very authentic feel. There is little to no incline, so the walk is effortless. But the highlight of the tour was the Angel Showers. It's a must see if you enjoy natural science!See more..
5.0Fisher Cave(13 reviews) - Spacious caverns with excellent tours. Spent More than 3 hours Caverns & Caves
Compared to most caverns I have visited I would say this one is more spacious than others. There are no real tight areas to have to squeeze through. The path is solid and smooth. Some areas may be wet but I never saw anyone who was slipping on the floor despite unusually wet areas due to recent heavy rainfall that had flooded a portion of the tour. Our tour guid did a great job educating the group and he was also entertaining. Tour ends with a nice movie and light show in a portion of the cave. Very good gift shop and snack foods available.See more..

5.0Devil's Well(6 reviews) - A descent into the earth... Spent < 1 hour Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
This attraction is well worth the drive. I'm very surprised that it's so unknown. It's a massive sinkhole that leads down into a 80-100 deep underground lake. When you take the steps down into the hole, a sensor will activate a light so that you can see into the lake, which is far below the viewing platform. It's an incredible experience. The water from the underground lake apparently flows from Cave Spring which is about a mile away (you can easily hike to this cave from Devil's Well.) There is also this gorgeous lookout on the Cave Spring trail. The whole park is beautiful and unique. Cave Spring (if you hike there) was apparently the spot that famous artist Thomas Hart Benton (an Ozarks native) painted his famous work "Cave Spring." One word of advice for getting to the park: do not take the route with Aker's Ferry. The ferry is not in service (even though all the signs claim that it is.) Take 19 up there instead.See more..

5.0Round Spring Cave(1 review) - Beautiful Spring and trail along stream spring creates. Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves Spring has an average flow of 20 million gallons of water a day, and creates a large, beautiful blue-green pool and a stream that runs into the Current River. There is an access point in the park for floating and rafting. There is also a cave, but it wasn't open when I visited in December.See more..
