Relaxing way to watch the movie. Lounge chair recliners are very comfortable. Don't come tired or you'll fall asleep. Screen size may vary in the different theaters within the Galaxy but what they call 'regular screen' is huge. Sound if very excellent. Theater is clean, and has a large concession stand. When you buy your ticket, you choose your seat from a board and the seat numbers are written automatically on your ticket. Think this is a new thing they are doing as I haven't run into it before.See more..

We travelled to KC to see a movie. We fortunately pick this theater over another one in the area. We picked a great place to watch a movie. I loved the atmosphere. You get a old school movie vibe with real good food and drinks(if you fancy adult beverages). Screenland is a better place to watch a movie than the typical multiplex movie theaters. Come to Screenland if you want to experience the magic of the movies!See more..

I’ve been coming here for years and absolutely love it! They always play first run movies as a double feature and charge what a theater charges for one movie. They open the gates at 7pm the movie starts about 8:50pm or when it turns dark. We always get there before the gate opens because they let you bring your BBQ grill as long as you get their free identification flag to put by it to identify something hot on the ground when it turns dark. They have a bin you dump your hot coals when you leave. We love having a BBQ picnic before the movie!! They also have a good snack bar with great prices if you don’t want to bring anything. In front of the screen they have the traditional Drive-In playground. With room to toss a frisbee or football. They thankfully do not allow alcohol so things stay tame but there is still armed security if needed. If you like movies or just being outside in beautiful weather you have to go to Sunset Drive-In!!!See more..

Wife and I got to the show a bit early the other day. They still have the overhead lights on. I was shocked to see what the seats look like. At first I just thought I had found a dirty one but upon looking around I realized they were all this way.
