The Eureka Scarecrow festival runs from October 1-31. Visitors taking selfies with a scarecrow can win cash prizes. You can find out more by doing a google search for the Eureka MO Scarecrow Festival. I visited Hilltop Village and photographed about 7 or 8 scarecrows. There are approximately 200 scarecrows scattered throughout the town. It's truly a scavenger hunt to find them all. My personal favorite is the chorus of scarecrows on the service road (West 5th St.) near the Eureka Collision Center. There's a lot of great restaurants and shops to visit while you're hunting for scarecrows. You can also vote for your favorite scarecrow online. See more..
