    my wife and i go all over the country watching dirt track racing. my job has landed me in Kansas City Missouri building the new KCI international airport. we were able to catch some good racing while being here and one of my favorite tracks was the Ozark raceway park. we will be going back there on October the 17th for the world of outlaw show. great place with great seating and great concession. make sure if you want a good time out with family to catch a race there.     My husband would have LOVED to go to this but we didn't know it was there till we faintly heard the racing back of the hotel late Saturday. I'm mostly writing this review to say that if you travel here for the races, consider staying at the Country Inn & Suites which is a great, affordable hotel that's located real handy to the speedway.     Came on the 4th of July. The races started around 7, and were very fun to watch. There were several different classes to watch. They had fireworks at dark and it was a great show. The concession stand was surprisingly cheap ($1 for popcorn, $1.50-2.50 for water/soda, $2.50 for nachos & cheese, etc). The restrooms were clean and well stocked. There is ample parking, and they also offer a military discount. Be advised: you cannot bring in coolers, alcohol, or any other food or beverage--and they don't serve alcohol at the concession stand.
