You’ll walk among the aging barrels that are stacked in our bonded warehouses and take a peek into the world-class bottling facility where numerous distillery brands get bottled and labeled. 5.0Pinckney Bend Distillery(203 reviews) - A must visit Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Distilleries
We know our guests are as diverse as our spirits. Whether you are enjoying the country scenery, hitting the wine trail or purposefully losing your way, we have done our best to suit a wide variety of experiences. Our facility, much like our team, is small but mighty. The people who painstakingly built Pinckney Bend are the same people who make and serve our spirits. We also DO NOT have indoor seating, as all available space is used for manufacturing. We do have a 950 square-foot patio with seating and music, or you can also enjoy downtown New Haven or the Riverwalk with one of our ‘to-go’ options available at the Patio.See more..

The process is very different from how KY does their bourbon. The tour was informative and enjoyable, tastings free, and the master distiller was onsite to talk to. I highly recommend a visit to the Wood Hat and ask him how the hats were made and sample the cordials!See more..

4.5Black Shire Distillery(23 reviews) - Very nice place to relax with a beverage Thursday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Distilleries
We visited Hermann recently and found the Black Shire Distillery to be attractive and appealing from the outside as part of our visit. Since we don't just drink wine, we were intrigued by this spirits alternate. Our curiosity was satisfied in a very positive way. They serve some great spirits, costing $12 for a tasting and $7 for a pour. Nice that there was no tax charged. We met some other couples and sat out on their nice patio located behind their buildings and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful spring day. We'd recommend a visit, if you too like more than wines.See more..

5.0Woodsmen Distilling(8 reviews) - Winery and distillery tour. Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Distilleries
My wife and I decided to go for a tour and tasting at the distillery after seeing the posting on Facebook. It was such a great time and the tour was extremely interesting. The samples of wine and spirits were very good and the people who served us were very friendly and welcoming. We purchased 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of whiskey as well as a bottle of the apple brandy. If you are on the area and enjoy wine, whiskey, or brandy I would highly recommend that you stop in and give Woodsmen a try. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. They are also a very green company as there is almost no waste involved in making the barrels or the wine or spirits, so this is a company that cares about it's customers as well as the environment.
