    Wild Animal Safari - Springfield/Strafford, Missouri opened in 1951 and was built by Pat Jones, father of Jerry Jones. The park consists of over 250 acres, including a five-mile Drive-Thru Safari and over twenty exhibits in the Walkabout Adventure Zoo. Guests can drive their own vehicle, rent a Safari SUV, or ride in the complimentary safari bus with a tour guide.     This farm is beautiful. There was all kinds of farm animals and all were very friendly. We didn’t have very much time to visit because we were going back to an event nearby. But the hour we spent there was fun! I will definitely be coming back to stay a night and experience country living and looking into detail at all the pig collection. The Sunset looked beautiful.     This family farm petting zoo has animals all over the world. Each person gets a bag of feed and can feed the animals. Admission includes a Clydesdale ride, hay wagon ride and cookout smores over an open fire. The animals love to be fed and have attention. The owners love their animals and take good care of them. They are open 7 days a week and open late. Sunday afternoon, everything was closed. They were open and it was one of the best things we did in the area. Highly recommend it. See more..
