I truly enjoyed the well cared for animals and the cages were clean, the animals looked healthy and in a stress free environment. The zoo had a meandering sense and was a relaxing and enjoyable outing. The botanical gardens were a highlight and the paths thru the park to see all the different animals and gardens very enjoyable. Very good time for all ages and places to stop and picnic or take a break to enjoy food or ice cream. Recommend getting a ticket on line the park has a certain amount they let in otherwise they ask you to come back after 3pm. Parking was 5 euros but the metro stop is right near the entrance and with all the construction in that area is a good option. See more..

Sehr schöner Zoo/Stadtgarten. Schöne Spazierwege und viele Tiere. Man kann die Fütterungen beobachten und mit einem Boot durch den gesamten Zoo fahren (kostet aber extra). Die Bootstour lohnt sich, denn man sieht Fische die mit einem schwimmen. Very nice zoo/city garden. Nice walking paths and lots of animals. You can watch the feedings and take a boat ride through the entire zoo (but it costs extra). The boat tour is worthwhile because you can see fish swimming with you. See more..

Very neat to see many of the animals that are native to Germany. Many of these are huntable species, so being able to see what they actually look like is neat. Several species of deer, wild boar, goats, ducks and geese, Scottish Highland cows. Many of the animals are available to feed and to pet. The kids looked like they were having a great time. The animal park itself is free. you just need to pay for parking. Animal signs are only in German, but it is easy to translate or search on your phone. Parking next to the park is 3 Euro Monday to Friday and 5 Euro on the weekend. Bring exact change. See more..

The Wildpark is a lovely place to visit for an afternoon. The animals are lively and the park so natural. The highlight though was our extra package which we booked for the evening "Heulen mit den Wölfen" getting the wolves to howl at night. It was amazing to experience the park in the dark at night when all the guests have left. My son and me had an amazing time here. It is a small place but well kept and interactive for kids. Aquariums are very good. Healthy and happy animals. My son had enjoyed a cleaning session which was happening for the cage of 3 yellow pythons. There is a beautiful park around this and two days has gone so fast. We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Taken long walks and would definitely like to go back to Ulm again next year. See more..

A pleasantly set out mini zoo. There's birds, turtles, deer, donkeys etc. The setting is very nice and well looked after, there's a cafe and play area too. Parking is a bit of a nightmare (the access road is narrow and parking is on street). This would probably be best for children under about 8yrs old - at 10 & 13 ours weren't overlly wowed. See more..

A big variety of birds-of-prey and owls. The park itself is small, but the shows containing both owls and birds-of-prey are very fun and informative to watch. The presenter speaks german and tries his best to give the same information in English as well. There is no spectacle expected like holding the birds in a glove yourself, as this gives the birds a lot of stress according to the presenter. (Mit Wickeltisch) Perfekt für einen Ausflug mit Kleinkindern. Die Tiere sind alle sehr lieb und lassen sich streicheln. Die Pfleger sind sehr freundlich.
