I ended up going here with a group of friends. You need to wear good hiking shoes and bring walking stick, water, and snacks. If you choose too, you can hike all the way up into the mountain and do a loop to get to this water fall. You can also just walk on a flat path to the Water fall. There are steps built into the side, so you can walk up the water fall. We went up to the top and stood under the water fall. Be careful of slippery rocks, but it was beautiful. There is an awesome Biergarten at the top of the water fall and then you can walk down. Don't use the outhouse, because it was so smelly and there were flies all over the place. See more..

A very nice hiking trip. It doesn't offer the same magic as higher mountain regions, but offers a wide range of natural environments and great views. The hikes are mid-level and could use some options to make the stages just a few miles longer to fill the day (now we were on average at 1pm at the next hotel including breaks). Visited with out 2 year old daughter on a whim following a recommendation from a free local guide book. Loved the walk through the forest and the regular little activities really captured our little girl’s imagination. Some of them were too old for her, but she was able to interact with a lot of them. There was a barefoot walk, an obstacle course, spot the natural objects, wooden musical instruments... lots to interact with and have fun, all with instructions in both German and English which was a nice surprise. The trail took us about 2 hours. It was quite busy with a few other families all going at their own pace. There is a section which involves quite a steep climb which is not pushchair friendly, though there is an alternative and to be honest we collapsed our lightweight pushchair and our girl managed the scramble to the top. If you do the alternative you just miss a nice walk, no activities. You start off at a park near the tourist information centre and follow the little gnome signs on lampposts which quite literally point you in the right direction. Overall a great few hours, and we felt we had well earned our lunch once we finished. See more..

Der Steig ist sehr schön zu wandern und hat anspruchsvolle Etappen dabei. mir persönlich haben die Treppen an den Felsen entlang sehr gefallen, die Etappen auf den Forstwegen dagegen weniger. Größtenteils ist der Steig super beschildert, nur anfangs fehlten womöglich ein paar Schilder auf den ersten Wiesen.
Früh morgens ist der Steig sehr leer, füllt sich aber mit der Zeit immer mehr. Ich würde ihn definitiv nochmal gehen. See more..

Wir können diese Runde nur empfehlen. Man kann z.B. am Zettelberg starten und die ca. 16 km meistens im Wald wunderbar gehen. Wir waren an einem Tag mit über 30 Grad (17. Juni 2019) draussen unterwegs, haben das im Wald aber garnicht gespürt. Highlights sind die schönen Aussichtspunkte unterwegs, der Abtsieg in die Wolfsschlucht und auch die Begegnung mit der 300-jährigen Linde in Rötenbach.
Wil man in der Schloßberghütte nahe Bad Teinach einkehren, muss man wissen, daß man fast bis Bad Teinach gehen muss, um diese zu finden. See more..

What make it worse is I came for working some shoot so I styled the model and I bring one rimowa luggage, hufff.. but i get helped, thanks God. This hike can be started by a parking close to Rotho, or a hiking parking close to public barbecue spot by the Sägmooshütte. From both spots the trail can be done in a round trip following the Höllbachwasserfall signage. The trail can be steep at times, but with the right shoes it is easily doable. The hike is about 2-3 h long, depending on the path chosen 4-6 km long. The trail crosses over the Aybach with a cascade type fall, and then there are the cascades and waterfalls of Hoellbach. The small Hoellbach Fall is not easy to get close to, but the large Hoellbach Fall can be seen from many angles, since the trail gets very close. Only a few hundred metres down stream a bridge crosses over another beautiful waterfall. A nice view over the hills of the Black Forest is offered by a small detour through the village of Goerwihl. On good days one can see the Swiss Alps in full glory. See more..

From the Wickarsmühle parking lot in Rickenbach one follows the road passing by the old quarry (Steinbruch), make sure to stay on that side of the river. Then about 1 km down one can hear the waterfall already. The Seelbach itself is nice with many cascades along the way. Once you reach the waterfall there is a panoramic viewpoint up on a little rock which gives you a superb view of the waterfall iself. Only a few metres further down the trail, the Murg river can be crossed on an old postal road, then followed by two old road tunnels. Unfortunately the Murg trail down to Murg or the Wieladingen Castle has been closed (trees on the trail, or just too slippery from ice). Otherwise you could easily continue down to the castle for another 3 km, passing by two more waterfalls of the Murg river and the Lehnbach Falls by the Wieladingen castle. from the castle you also have a nice view of the valley and the tree covered hills. Thus if you want to see the waterfall plan with about 1 h, or 2 h if you go slow, if you combine it with the other places in a round drip then the time will exceed most probably 3h. See more..

Alle Arten von Wegen. Viehweiden. Almenähnliche Wiesen. Heidelbeerwälder bis zum abwinken. Immer wieder mal nette Aussichten runter nach Enzklösterle. Viele Heidelbeerblaue Sitzbänke und auch Holzliegen. Eine Holzschaukel. Wir brauchten für die ganze Wanderung 6 Stunden (es waren etwa 18 km insgesamt) und haben sie dementsprechend in 2 Tagen aufgeteilt. Der Weg hoch auf den Berg ist anstrengend und lang - über 1 Stunde bergauf und danach genauso steil wieder runter. Die andere Seite ist wesentlich bequemer. Der Pfad auf dem Berg ist extrem Holderdipolter, tief ausgewaschen, Wurzeln, Steine. Da muss man vorsichtig laufen um nicht auszurutschen oder umzuknicken. Stöcke empfehlenswert. In Enzklösterle viele gutbürgerliche Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Start bei der Touristeninformation. Sehr gut ausgeschildert. Man kann ohne Karte laufen. See more..

Mega toller Wanderweg 10,5 km. In 4 Std. mit Pausen zu schaffen. Z.T. anspruchsvoll, da steil bergauf. Sehr abwechslungsreich und super ausgeschildert. Aber am besten sind die Rastplätze. Drei mit Getränkestationen und zwei sind so traumhaft originell und durchdacht gestaltet, dass wir echt begeistert waren. Dann gab es noch eine 23 Meter Bank, viele weiter Bänke und immer wieder viele schöne Ausblicke. Wir sind Mitte 50 und sind schon weit rumgekommen und gewandert. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! See more..
