My husband and I came here on a Monday at about noon. At first we were the only people tasting but soon more people arrived. The wines are great, Patrick and the winemaker were very informative. You can tell that they are passionate about what they are doing. They spoke English and we did not have a tasting reservation. We just took our chances and it worked out. The wines are AMAZING. I like crisp, not sweet wines and this is exactly what most of their wines were. Wide selection too for a small wine maker. The grounds are stunning. It’s a interesting drive up to the top of hill but Google Maps had no problem getting us there. Highly recommend stopping in, tasting and buying some wine. The pricing is great. Even thought the tour was in German, the guide was kind enough to provide a brief English translation which was deeply appreciated!! when we come to Lake Constance (Konstanz ) or as the germans call it the Bodensee apart from the wonderful scenic and history of this area, you should really visit its wineries, there are a number in this area and loads surrounding the lake this one is very good and reasonable. Most of these wineries have tastings and festivals and you can buy before you travel home. We decided to visit here to taste and buy some wine. We emailed them before to make sure that they would be open. Since we were coming from far they said that if we wouldnt be there during normal hours we could call and then stop by. But we did make it during the normal opening hours. A short tour of Germany brings me to a Winery which I have always heard well, after my visit and tasting I can only confirm the quality of the wines of the Weingut Bernhard Huber. I made an appointment for a tasting by e-mail, I was welcomed and accompanied in a tasting of their main products by Ms. Huber, very nice woman who guided me through their wines with kindness and competence, it’s easy to feel their love for the Bourgogne style, mostly on the Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder), in the GG (kind of classification of high quality dry wines) I caught a great complexity, elegance and aging potential. Württemberg wine area is not well enough known outside Germany, despite being fourth-largest in the country. Quantities are high, but quality - till recently - was patchy. Junges Schwaben winemakers set out to changed that: their wines are uniformly excellent. Hans Hengerer of Kistenmacher-Hengerer is one of the founding members of the movement.He is also a member of VDP DiePrädikatsweingüter association, a select, quality focused group of German winemakers. He produces a large range of wines which are difficult to assess during one visit. So, for now, I can say the following: - 2015 Gelb Muscateller Ortswein. The best dry muscatel I encountered in Germany yet: light, clear, straw-yellow wine with haunting muscatel bouquet and dry, fruity, sightly spritzig, long palate to match. Joy in a glass! - 2014 Weißer Riesling GG. A true Grosses Gewächs riesling, built for a long haul: dry, weighty (at 12.5%), long, minerally and fruity - brilliant! A wine of the terroir, if there ever was one. I can't wait to look at it again in a lineup of my favorite rieslings. - 2013 Heilbronn Stiftsberg Lemberger trocken Erste Lage. A very serious wine: structured, deeply fruited, long, balanced, with beautiful terroir minerality and tannins (Alliers oak). Once again, the best Lemberger I encountered yet and - for me - a revelation. As though such extraordinary wines were not enough, you will find a hauntingly beautiful location at the very edge of Heilbronn, truly lovely people and two magnificent, friendly dogs here. Tolles Weingut, das von einer sehr netten Neckarsulmer Familie betrieben. Die Weine sind hervorragend und die Preise gut. Die Besenwirtschaft ist auch sehr zu empfehlen und immer einen Besuch wert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Kürbisbesen im Herbst und das Hoffest Ende August. Das Weingut liegt schön am Fuße des Scheuerbergs inmitten von Weinbergen in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Aquatoll.

Das Weingut Burg Ravensburg liegt "natürlich" nicht in Östringen, ist jedoch das Schwestergut vom Heitlinger. Die Vinothek verkauft und verköstigt die Weine beider Weingüter.
