    Our factory tour was arranged via AMG and we were allocated an AMG staff member Andre who took us round the production line on a 1:1 basis. The tour took 90 minutes and he was knowledgable, friendly and interesting. We got to see the E-class, GT and CLS line which was really interesting. The customer centre was an oasis of calm and the food in the cafe was good. All in all, a most brilliant experience. See more..

    We booked this trip online from the UK, booking a factory tour in English which for two adults and two teenagers was around 20 Euros. As you would expect, the place is run very efficiently with free parking adjacent to the visitor centre. Once inside there is a showroom over three floors displaying the very best models that Audi produce. The factory is the home of Quattro GmBH so all the most expensive RS and R8 models are produced there as well as some of the latest Lamborghini Huracan bodyshells. The tour itself is taken by an English speaking employee who in our case had over 30 years' experience with the company. Access is available to all the build process apart from the paint shop. All in all this is a really good value visit and a good insight into a 21st century car production plant. See more..
