    What an amazing tour! This was sooooo entertaining and something else. She took her time to show us the city and tell us interesting stories, while making sure that we were tagging along.     Last summer, my husband and I went on an Alternative Tour of Heidelberg with Henry. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked a longer, private tour for our December trip. Our 21-year-old son joined us for the winter tour. We all enjoyed a three-hour walking tour filled with interesting stories, history, and a beautiful time at the castle. We even got recommendations for nearby restaurants with vegan offerings and popped in to see Heidelberg's only microbrewery. We would highly recommend Henry Heidelberg Tours. See more..

    We visited the castle on December 17, 2022. We parked in the lot and took the shuttle up to the castle. Our tickets were for the 5:00 to 6:00 pm slot but we got there a little early and it wasn't a problem to enter early. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the castle and then enjoyed the winter celebration festivities. The castle was beautifully decorated for Christmas and Gluhwein was available for purchase. :) It was a spectacular setting filled with Christmas beauty. See more..

    Wir haben die Räucherei Pfau auf Emfehlung des Hotels Engel Obertal besucht. Schon als wir die Metzgerei betraten, rochen wir die frischgeräucherten Würste. Es war so, wie man sich eine traditionelle Räucherei vorstellt. Es gab nebst dem klassischen Schwarzwaldschinken auch viele verschiedene Würste. Zum Beispiel eine Salami mit schwarzwälder Kirsch oder Rum verfeinert. Ein Lachen auf unser Gesicht zauberte uns ein Fleischmännchen :-) (siehe Foto). Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und kompetent.     Walking the streets of Ravensburg is a wonderful experience itself, even without a guided tour. However, if you are curious to learn how the city developed through the years to become what it is today, then you should book a place on "Ravensburger Stadtgeschichte". Our guide was very competent and friendly and gave us several good ideas for further exploration of the city. We have visited some of the most prominent sites and also got a chance to enter the historical city hall. Overall a very good experience I would further recommend. See more..

    Die Führung war ein Augen- und Ohrenschmaus. Es wurde sehr viel gelacht.
    Mariele, alias Sibylle Laufer, hat uns auf interessante, unterhaltsame und humorvolle Art und Weise viel Wissen sehr charmant rüber gebracht.
    Wir durften in einer kleinen Frauenrunde Mariele kennen lernen, die wirklich für ihre Sache lebt. Trotz verstrichener Zeit zeigte sie uns noch dies und jenes mit einer solchen Begeisterung und Leidenschaft. Es war wirklich ein Erlebnis, da Mariele uns nicht nur mit Geschichte und Geschichten gefüttert, sondern diese auch mit allen möglichen Hilfsmitteln anschaulich vermittelt hat.
    Es war rundrum ein gelungener Abend. Absolut zu empfehlen.
