    The weather was grey and the skies overcast but we decided to go on with our plans. From Breitnau via St. Margen, St. Peter and to Waldkirch. High up on beautiful mountain roads. They were narrow, sharp turns, sometimes wet, and the higher we went, the view below was obscured, but the trees in autumn were beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. From Waldkirch took the HiWay to Denzlingen and then another great scenic road via Glottertal and back to St. Peter. Suggest you do it in the spring or summer. Chances you get a better view are greater. See more..

    I'd only been in Rottweil a short time but got invited to go on a walk from the centre of Rottweil along the river and back again.     Cycling from and around FN is a dream. There are many off road cycle ways to explore. One of my favourites is From Friedrichshafen to Lindau along the lake, Traffic free. The historic old town of Lindau is worth a visit. Take your swim suite on a hot day as there are loads of super bathing places and swimming pools along the lake. If you are tired get a ship or train back. all the trains and ships have bike facilities, wake up England. For the more adventurous carry on through Bregenz in Austria and into Romanshorn in in Switzerland from where you can get on the carferry back to FN. or carry on to Konstance and get the cateraman or ship back to FN.     Der Bähnleradweg führt von Titisee-Neustadt über Lenzkirch nach Bonndorf. Er ist zu einem grossen Teil auf dem ehemaligen Trasse der Eisenbahn angelegt. Er führt an ehemaligen Bahnhöfen vorbei und über eine ehemalige Eisenbahnbrücke. An sonnigen Tagen ist die Fahrt auf diesem Radweg ein Hochgenuss. Der Radweg ist auch für Familien geeignet.     Im only sad that I can no longer ride a bike, because I will miss this lovely cycle path. It is also possible to enjoy parts of it on foot. We have had some truly memorable and romantic day trips exploring this lovely stretch of countryside along the lazy Kocher river. Its like being lost in time as you pass through stretches of picturesque woodland and tiny, old villages.
