4.0Triberger Waterfall(1.996 reviews) - High water fall Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
At the cascades of the Gutach River, water tumbles nearly 600 feet over seven naturally created steps, resulting in a marvelous site for visitors.See more..
4.5Todtnau Waterfalls(408 reviews) - A nice waterfall, but takes some effort to reach it (especially back to the parking lot) Spent < 1 hour Waterfalls
A beautiful waterfall but requires some physical effort to reach it. We parked our car at the parking place above the waterfall, and it was perhaps a 10-minute walk downhill to reach the first part of the waterfall. Then it is still perhaps additional 5-10 minutes to the bottom of the waterfall from where it can be best viewed. Very refreshing to wet your feet in the cold water. To get back up to the parking place was quite a hike, and in the summer heat it was not pleasant. On our way to Todtnau we saw that there´s an another access that may be used to get to the bottom of the waterfall and back with much less of an effort. Both parking and entering was free of charge.See more..
Beautiful walk through the forest to the waterfall on a round-trail. Whole thing takes maybe 90 minutes depending on your sprightliness. There is a car park there, but you can also take a local bus from near Leopoldsplatz. Bus was easy, you just pay the driver when you get on (2.50 Euro each way) and get off at the end of the line (Malschbach), cross over the road and you'll see the car park, from which there are signs (the 'roundweg' or something is the circular walk, which begins and ends at the car park). Really really recommend this, where suitable footwear as it might be slightly muddy in places.See more..
The path is easy going and very nice, full of green. It is marked, so that you just have one possibility, and you cannot get lost. It is very safe, as you cannot go into the waterfalls. There are many stairs, so do not go with a trolley. Kids should walk, or you should carry them!See more..
This is a beautiful spot! Plan at least one hour, especially if you want to walk. Various walks are available, though I could not find a toilet near the car park. There is a shelter with large maps and route information. A little stream is nearby to cool your tired feet after a walk. You need sunscreen and water. Some of the walks are not suitable for prams or people with walking difficulties. The falls are illuminated on some nights. See more..
4.5Sankenbachwasserfalle(39 reviews) - The location on the map is wrong!!!! Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
just to start off by saying that the point where there place is indicated is wrong. Its a 3 to 4 mile hike (not too easy) to get there. The marked point is just where the trail kind of starts. It came as a surprise to us as we were not prepared, but we went anyway and it was worth the walk!! Awesome experience!! you have to be fit and willing though for the walk. Tip: instead of the trail(which is cool), take the road which is direct and not all too hard to walk.See more..
4.5Todtmoos Waterfall(38 reviews) - A waterfall to enjoy for a long time! Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
In Todtmoos there are different trails that lead us to amazing views. When we walked on this trail, we discovered a waterfall that was so subliminal. We had to carefully go down the hill to get close to it. The waterfall continued downstream for quite a while, There was also a sign in German near the top of the Falls: "Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.". The trees were adding an atmosphere of pure romanticism. We kept on going further and further to enjoy the waterfalls as well as the rapids. When we went back to the top of the hill where the trail was leading, we discovered that there was a small parking lot that led directly to the waterfalls. No need for a trek if you don't want to. We prefer adventure though and enjoyed walking in the Black Forest.See more..
4.5Gaishöll-Wasserfälle(22 reviews) - The effort is worth it Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
We hiked up the waterfall and even though it was not exactly easy walking enjoyed the hike very much with many opportunities to take picturesSee more..
It's easy to get there by car. There is a free parking and the begining of the path. After this you have to walk arround 30 minutes or an hour (depending if you walk with children or adults) in the forest. The walk isn't very easy so bring your boots with you. The walk is really nice and the waterfalls beautiful.See more..
4.5Uracher Wasserfall(11 reviews) - A beautiful city with various sights, one of them is the waterfall Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
The waterfall is easy to reach. The parking lot is at the end of the town, at the train stop. It is about 2 kilometers on foot from the parking lot. It is easy and comfortable in the Maisental up to the foot of the waterfall. You can climb up at the waterfall. Above there is a rest area with drinks and food ... and a great view in the forest. The water output of the spring varies depending on the weather and season from around 70 l / s in midsummer, up to 420 l / s after heavy rains or during the snow melt. Nearby is the castle ruin, which is still accessible and offers a great view of the surroundingsSee more..
4.5Burgbachwasserfall(9 reviews) - Beautiful !!! One of the few waterfalls that are really impressive Waterfalls
The waterfall is easy to get to. There is a parking lot nearby. From there it is about 1 kilometer on foot. It rises steeply, but the first part of the path is paved, the second part of the path is easy to walk. The waterfall is located in the forest, so it can also be visited in warm or sunny temperatures. I was there in April. I suspect there will be less water in the summer months. But the about 15 meter, which the water falls down make an impressive sound It is worth it, when you are in the region there around, and you like natureSee more..
4.5Hoerschbachwasserfalle(8 reviews) - Jeder Zeit ein Besuch wert! Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
See more..
4.5Edelfrauengrab-Wasserfaelle(7 reviews) - Beautiful 1.3 km walk up a multitude of curvy waterfalls Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
The official waterfall with a German plaque is at the beginning, but then you climb the steps and cross bridges to view many waterfalls and pools. A couple of people and a few children swam in two of the larger pools. Bring water shoes and swimming gear.See more..
4.0Fahler Wasserfall(6 reviews) - Less great less crowded Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls Nice how this waterfall is much more quite compared to the somewhat bigger Triberg falls. We reallly enjoyed this one as wellSee more..
Quite close to Kadelburger Strasse you find this waterfall of the Wutach. Even more mighty before the construction of the power plant, this waterfall is still quite a sight. You can either view it from the bridge (a bit obscured view, the waterfall is just next to the bridge), one can still walk along the Wutach on both sides for a better view, going down to the riverbed is an option, but there is no clear prepared trail for that, so be sure you have real good shoes in case you attempt that.See more..
