With its rich collection of masterworks dating from the fourteenth century to the present, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is among Germany’s most popular museums. The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart presents its superb collection on some 9,000 square metres of exhibition space offered by the old building of 1843, the famous post-modern Stirling Building, and the Steib Halls constructed in 2002. Among the prominent holdings are the approximately 400,000 works belonging to the Department of Prints, Drawings and Photographs, Early Swabian panel painting and outstanding examples of nineteenth-century Swabian Neoclassicism. The chief emphasis of the museum collection is undoubtedly the Classical Modern period with art spanning the years from 1900 to 1980. Spread over four levels, Museum Frieder Burda presents artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries in changing exhibitions. These focus, on the one hand, on themes and artists relevant to the collection, for example, Pablo Picasso, Max Beckmann or Sigmar Polke. On the other hand, they also present current contemporary positions such as those of Andreas Gursky, JR and Katharina Grosse. I believe this museum was created to store the artifacts from Freiburg cathedral. It is well laid out and almost guides you through the center hall with its superhuman statues from the cathedral, into the side aisles, displaying paintings and liturgical objects, and then upwards to stained glass and artifacts. There are a number of well known masters on display, like Carlo Crivelli and Hans Baldung Grien. If you are interested in buying catalogs from past exhibits, some are for sale at the entrance. Extremely well thought out in every minor detail, part of a family run enterprise. Starting this summer, they will be opening up a massive new building, that will feature over 50 classic cars and is of even higher architectural significance, it will also offer the best views in the area by far. Don't miss this artistic jewel. Even if you are in Zurich, Stuttgart, or Frankfurt, it's worth the trip to this little city to visit this gem of a museum. See more..

While the displays do give a nice amount of info, there doesn't seem to be a really cohesive narrative, nor go into depth. First and foremost, as you are looking at these reviews for Museum LA8, you need to understand that the content of the museum rotates. For our visit, it was the Museum for Art and Technology of the 1900s. While we enjoyed a good portion of the subject matter, we found that the museum was poorly laid out and is truly intended for native German speakers. The audio guide is available in English, but if you require English you will miss out on most all of the non-audio guide exhibits. As for the audio guide, there was lots of good information, but things were not laid out in sequence (e.g. stop 1 through stop 15). Instead things jumped all around and the markings for audio information were rather small (you needed to search for them). And since they were not in sequence, you never knew if you had missed something. We're glad we did it (only 7 Euro/person) and certainly learned, but likely would not return. See more..

In der Ortsmitte gelegen beherbergt dies Museum zwei Teile. In einem modernen Anbau ist ein didaktisch und medial sehr modernes und gutes Museum zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Insel Reichenau zu finden. Dies zeigt zwar fast gar keine Originale, gibt aber einen tollen Überblick mit Bildern und Schautafeln. Im historischen Gebäude ist ein Heimatmuseum untergebracht, das in ganz klassischer Art die nähere Vergangenheit der Insel erklärt und mit Schauobjekten veranschaulicht. This is a small exhibition - 'Winterhalter in Menzenschwand' - in the old Rathaus but it is an excellent one, made especially interesting by the fact that Franz Xavier Winterhalter was born literally 50 metres from where the exhibition is. The entrance fee is a nominal 3 Euros, which includes a 30 minute film. The two staff there were very helpful and made the visit even more enjoyable. See more..

This one, a building in the middle of a factory complex, includes a small permanent, fascinating display about the history of screws and the role they play in literally holding modern society together. The major part of the building houses occasionally changed major exhibitions of contemporary art, sometimes supplemented by works of well-known modern artists from the Wurth family's own collection. Although this gallery may seem out of the way, the Wurth group also supports galleries in nearby Kupferzell and Kunzelsau (the former focused on medieval religious art, the latter on contemporary art) making a visit to this area well worthwhile. Es gab für uns zwei Gründe, den Weg nach Künzelsau zu suchen: Erstens Kunstwerke von Weltrang zu erleben und zweitens das in einem neu errichteten Museumsbau von David Chipperfield Architects. Der Weg lohnt sich!
Man erreicht das Museum leicht von der A 6 und über die gut ausgebaute Landstraße. Das Museum ist auch gut ausgeschildert. Vor dem Museumsgelände, zu dem das Carmen-Würth-Forum gehört, gibt es hunderte von Parkplätzen, die von vielen Skulpturen gesäumt werden.
Man betritt den Museumsbau, muss derzeit Formalitäten und Hygieneregeln befolgen, aber sonst ist der Aufenthalt entspannt und angenehm. Freundliches Personal empfing uns und wies uns ein. Der Eintritt ist - wie überall bei Würth - kostenlos. Das Laden der Museums-App gelang uns auf zwei Handys allerdings nicht.
Der Museumsbau umfasst ein Foyer mit Museumsshop, ein Cafe, einen offenen Innenhof, eine hohe Halle mit Rundgang, ein Kabinett im Untergeschoss und eine große Glasfassade zur Südseite. Die Sammlung, die aktuell gezeigt wird, ist sehr vielfältig an Skulpturen, Plastiken, Installationen, Gemälden und Drucken weltbekannter Künstler.
Der Museumsbau wurde von David Chipperfield Architects entworfen, die den Wettbewerb für das gesamte Ensemble vor 14 Jahren gewonnen hatten. Vornehme Zurückhaltung, exzellente Akustik und Beleuchtung und hochwertige Materialien geben der Kunst einen angemessenen Rahmen.
Wer nach dem Kunstgenuss reflektieren und verweilen will, kann das im gediegenen und geräumigen Cafe oder im Innenhof tun. See more..

Hier findet der Kunstinteressierte nicht nur einzigartige Exponate aus der Kunstrichtung der sog. outsider /Art Brut/Naive, sondern das Ganze wird auch noch in den herrlichen Räumen des stadion´schen Schlosses präsentiert! Die aktuelle Ausstellung umfaßt Werke von 27 Künstlern, die international einen hohen Stellenwert einnehmen (z.B. Rousseau,Seraphine Louis,Morris Hirshfield). Tatsächlich vorhanden sind in der Sammlung aber noch wesentlich mehr Gemälde und Skulpuren (an die 4500). Man wird in absehbarer Zeit eine andere Auswahl zeigen, bei der dann Werke anderer Künstler/innen gehängt und ausgestellt werden sollen. So bleibt es immer interessant und es lohnt sich,öfter vorbei zu schauen.

Меня интересовала постоянная, а именно, плакаты Пикассо. За временную нужно было доплатить 5 евро, хотя женщина хотела мне дать скидку 1 евро. Рюкзаки и сумки необходимо оставить в камере хранения, где жетончиком служит монетка 1 евро. Сама выставка плакатов оказалась очень даже интересной и большой! Пикассо много рисовал разных интересных и необычных вещей. Хотя фотографировать было запрещено, я всё-таки сделал несколько фотографий для того, чтобы Вы смогли понять, о чём идёт речь. Es wurde das Museum tatsächlich noch nicht bewertet. Ich finde dass sich ein Besuch allemal lohnt, Der Künstlerpfarrers Köder verdient auch überregional bekannt zu werden..
Der Künstler hat eine Reihe von biblischen Thema beeindruckend ins Bild gesetzt. Ob Gemälde, darunter einie einige kubistisch orientierte Triptychen, sowie Drucke aus der Ätztechnik und auch einige Skulpturen, Er orientiert sich bei seiner Kunst am Kubismus, El Grco und Chagall, was auch deutlich zu Ausdruck kommt..Die fundierte Kenntnis der Symbolik biblischer Geschichten kommt dem Werk zu Gute.
Es gibtr über Ellwangen hinaus noch andere Ausstellungen. See more..

Sensationelle Südsee-Kunst in wunderschöner Galerie. Die KUNSTWERK Sammlung Klein ist für Erwachsene, wie auch für Kinder eine tolle Horizonterweiterung und daher absolut empfehlenswert! Nach der Besichtigung waren wir uns sicher, dass wir als Australienfans zur bevorstehenden Aboriginal-Ausstellung sehr gerne nochmals wiederkommen werden; natürlich mit anschließendem Besuch im leckeren CaféK, gleich nebenan.

Im alten Schafstall aus dem 18 Jh. ist 1991 ein Museum entstanden mit einer Mörike Dauerausstellung und historischen Karten von Neuenstadt.
Dank dem Leiter des Museum Hr. Sawatzki haben in letzten 15 Jahren fantastische Ausstellungen stattgefunden.
Von Bildern Asien-Picassos Yuristanbek Shigaev,
über wundervolle Bernsteinschätze -Tränen der Götter von Lucjan Myrta,
die Skulpturen von Prof. Gunther Stilling,Holz-Fasnetsmasken‎ aus der Schweiz,
die Traumbilder Fantastische Welten von Wojtek Siudmak und viele andere Künstler aus Deutschland und Ausland
Es lohnt sich auf der Internetseite zu informieren über die laufenden Ausstellungen.
Übrigens ab und zu werden hier auch kleine Konzerte und Theaterstücke gespielt.

Eine formidable Ausstellung im Obergeschoss des Gomadinger Rathauses bietet einen Einblick in sein Werk. Kunstgenuss, den man die meiste Zeit auch noch für sich alleine hat. The Rathaus, Town Hall, in Gengenbach has been listed by the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest advent calendar in the world. It is just by chance that this town hall was built with 24 windows facing the town square. During the month of December they cover all the windows and then have a different artist represented every two years. The light up a different window every day of December leading up to Christmas.
