I just left the store. I pre ordered my Valentine's day chocolates. I can wait for my boyfriend to open then and hopefully let me have one. I do want to mention due to covid they can only let one person or group in at the same time. There was an out of stater that was in front of me giving a bad attitude that he had to wait and when it was his turn he went in in a huffy and tore out of there yelling at the staff. I hope this doesn't spoil thier day on Valentine's weekend and I am sorry as a Vermonter and resident. Out of staters need to uphold the rules. We are all in this together. I want to thank laughing moon chocolates for a very lovely Valentine's day week with your scrumptious chocolates its bond to be.See more..

4.5FH Gillingham & Sons General Store(92 reviews) - A classic Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops • Historic Sites
The size and shape of Woodstock, Vermont, was quite different in 1886 when Frank Henry Gillingham opened his store that stood in the heart of this small New England town. Reverently the community has preserved the physical buildings and the spiritual essence of an earlier day. Located in the village center is F.H. Gillingham & Sons General Store. The faces of the townsfolk may have changed and the store’s inventory may have evolved, but the family running the store has remained the same. Today's owners are descendants of both F.H. Gillingham and Franklin Billings. Frank & Jireh Billings proudly carry on the family tradition that their great–grandfather started 132 years ago.See more..
I was with a bus group, and we were given a tour of the sugar house, which included the process from draining the maple trees of sap to refining it for syrup. A sample convinced me that their fresh syrup is not the same quality as supermarket products. There's a gift shop on site for purchasing maple syrup and their homemade maple products. They also sell locally made crafts. Grounds are beautiful, with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for relaxing.See more..

The public is welcome to visit the Crowley Cheese Factory, the country's oldest cheese factory to see award-winning all natural Crowley Cheese, made entirely by hand, the old-fashioned way. Though the factory shop is usually open 7 days, 10-4, we typically make cheese 3 weekdays (call for schedule). The factory was built in 1882 and is listed in the National Historic Register. You can purchase cheese, as well as other assorted Vermont products at the factory. Heads up: we are a TINY, old-fashioned operation that's a little off the beaten track in a beautiful, rural area. Please call first to make sure the factory is open before making the trek. Also, if you do manage to catch us on a cheesemaking day, we really appreciate your patience as our cheesemaking staff endeavors to make excellent cheese while providing an excellent customer service experience.See more..
To fill in a few minutes in our visit to Woodstock, Vermont, we took a ride over to The Calvin Coolidge Historical Site in Plymouth. (More on that later). We parked up near the Plymouth Artisan Cheese Co. building and decided to take a look. A wonderful lady, Cari, was waiting to great us and inform us all about cheeses and her company. What started out as a way to kill a few minutes turned into a highlight of our day. The upstairs museum was an added treat. We came away with cheeses, shirts and more. What a good ambassador Cari is!See more..

4.0The Warren Store(71 reviews) - Great sandwiches for lunch! Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
We were here in Mid October day tripping to Vermont. We swung into Warren, small quaint street with this one store. We ended up ordering lunch through a window. All covid/safey precautions. We ordered around the corner at a window for lunch, then came around front to pay. They called your number and we ate at one of the picnic tables outside. Great sandwiches. I had a small, which was huge and my husband large. They were fresh and made well. You really could only enter the store if you needed provisions, my husband went in to purchase beer. They limit the number of people inside. Looked like a quaint country store that had everything. Good bite for lunch with a nice view of the waterway/river below.See more..

First time...... gorgeous hand made gifts along with many other items to choose from. Mask and all, worth the trip.See more..
Amazingly delicious syrup! We dropped by on a Monday afternoon; it is literally a house in the middle of the woods. It wasn't too hard to find with GPS; there were also signs pointing to the sugar house. Follow the GPS/signs, and you'll come to this house with maybe 1 car parked in front of it. There was no one inside the house, but there were clear instructions to taste, purchase and pay for syrup. It's the honor system all the way here. Syrup comes in 3 flavors and all were excellent. Prices were fair, and definitely less than what you'd find in retail stores. Only one other car of people came in while we were there, and as we were leaving, another car was just turning in to the lot. The path to/from the house is just about wide enough for one car, but we didn't encounter any other vehicle going in or out, so it wasn't an issue. Definitely drop by for a visit! The best souvenir I took home from in Stowe - ok, souvenirs (plural) as I bought multiple jugs...!See more..

We were introduced to this place by a friend who has been coming here and purchasing some of their fine ceramics. Each one of their pieces are one of a kind. They have several selections one can purchase to make a whole set. The selections they have outside of their stores tend to be a bit cheaper because they have some very minor flaws while the ones inside a sold for a bit more. Essentially the pieces you are picking up are quite exquisite. We loved them and will be back!See more..
