This is small, family run theater with 3 screens. The the theater was super clean. We really enjoyed all of the decorations and movie props on display in the lobby and also in the theater. The price for a movie was super reasonable as was the food compared to other chain theaters. The staff was really friendly, attentive, and helpful. If you are in the area I highly recommend you stop by to catch a movie. See more..
  3. 3.0 Flagship Premium Cinemas (33 reviews)
    - Best theater in Rutland
    Movie Theaters
Flagship cinemas took a closed movieplex in downtown Rutland, cleaned it up, remodeled it and reopened it. There area number of screens and a better projection system. It is not the nicest thearer I have ever been to, but it does the job. They are very involved with the community, and offer free classic films once a week and coupon fundraisers for community nonprofits See more..

We actually stopped by the Bijou to relive a few old experiences. My great aunt owned the Bijou back in the 60'same and 70's. After a great conversation with the fellow working there who knew my aunt went in for a movie. Seats were comfortable and the theater is still amazing. Prices were very reasonable. See more..
  6. 4.5 Savoy Theatre (12 reviews)
    - An Indie Theatre Survives (so far) - Thats wonderful
    Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
For those of us who rarely get much pleasure going to the Hollywood action movies that are all the thing these days, having an independent movie theatere in a small town is a major blessing. I recently was perusing a book called "Not Coming to a Movie Theatre Near You" that was lamenting the fact that so many good movies never make it to the movie theatres. Almost all the movies listed in the book had showed at the Savoy, and I had seen and enjoyed many of them. The Savoy also hosts the annual Green Mountain Film Festival every early Spring and I get to see dozens of documentaries, foreign films and even some films made locally here in Vermont. I learn so much and get so much pleasure during those dark days of "stick season" See more..

Our family went to the Fairlee Drive In Theatre last night for the double feature. We arrived at 7:15 pm and got a really good spot in the field, although are there any bad spots there?? We walked to the snack back which was behind the field and ordered dinner. We got cheeseburgers, corn dog for our son, onion rings, French fries and popcorn. Wicked yummy food especially the burgers and fries ! Cooked perfectly and super hot. ($35 total for the above mentioned food )The theatre filled up quickly so I'm glad we got there early for a good spot. You have the option of listening to the movie through your speakers on your car or through the old fashioned kind that are still hanging on the poles in the field. A late night(1st movie ended at 10:25pm) but a very fun time had by all even though we could not stay for the second movie( not age appropriate for our son). A must see spot on your vacation. Based on other reviews it sounds like the motel is excellent too. See more..
