7.18.22 Rainy day stop so place was very busy. There's indoor and outdoor seating with some outdoor spots wait an cover. Indoors you can walk up and order beers, we chose to sit. Our sandwiches were amazing. Meat was tender, cooked to perfection and the buns were soft and warmed up. My peach flavored beer tasted more of a dessert beverage and was absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere, great beer, great service. A must stop if in the area.See more..

We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our interactions with the two outstanding servers ! We had incredible service !! We love places that allow you to have a taste of their beers prior to ordering. Josh, one of the servers , was amazing! We sampled some outstanding IPAs , enjoyed 8oz and 16 oz pours and left with well priced cans to take home to VA. 4.5Foam Brewers(156 reviews) - Great Location and Beer Menu Spent 2-3 hours Breweries
This place is quite popular and parking is easy. The beer menu is amazing, and I also enjoyed the cider. They have a lovely charcuterie tray to accompany any beverage, easily shareable for 4-5 people. It's a dog & child friendly place with a fabulous outdoor space in front with partial water views of Lake Champlain. There's also an outdoor space in the back, but it's not very interesting. Ordering online from your table is an option, and it's quite efficient. If one does choose to order inside, the staff is very helpful , friendly, and knowledgeable. There is an attached restaurant, but we didn't dine here.See more..

For a casual hang out and check out the current cider, the Woodchuck Cidery is a great stop up in the Middlebury area. This was our second visit, so did not do the self guided tour but would recommend to see how Woodchuck got to be where they are and their brands. We enjoy having a quick tasting flight so we know what we want to buy. We always are surprised with something new to bring home. Great selection of beer - my favs are the Vienna (amber ale), Dunkel (slight cocoa stout). 4.5Foley Brothers Brewing(37 reviews) - Some of the best beer I’ve ever tested! Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
My husband and I took a drive up to the Rutland and Brandon area for a short hike. We took note of Foley Brothers from our Vermont brewery map and boy am I glad we did! We happened to be the only ones at the brewery during our visit and did a testing of about 5 beers. All of them were amazing! Big Bang is one of the BEST IPA’s I have tasted-it distinguishes itself from the pack by a huge margin. Also loved Prospect and Citrennial which we purchased in cans to take home as alas, Big Bang was no longer available for purchase. Staff was friendly and helpful and we got some additional info on the area. This place is off the beaten path and has such an authentic feel about it-the Foley Brothers really know what they are doing! Can’t wait to taste what’s around the corner!See more..

4.5Four Quarters Brewing(25 reviews) - A Hidden Gem - at least to me! Thursday: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Breweries
Celebrate the Earth. Four Quarters embodies the cycle of life, the journey that each ingredient makes on its way to your glass. A seed, carefully planted and nurtured, growing with the energy of the sun, Earth, wind, and rain. The fruits harvested, later release their seeds, and the cycle of life starts again. When Four Quarters creates new beers, it’s celebrating the Earth and everything that grows within. Our logo shows the moon phases, which encapsulates this cycle, present in every living thing. The hope is that by thoughtfully crafting each and every beer with this cycle in mind, as well as the purpose of every ingredient used, the brewery can pass to its drinkers not just a glass of delicious brew, but its passion, its love, and its thankfulness for all things in the natural world.See more..
We loved this brewery! There’s an newer brew house then in these pictures but unfortunately we didn’t take any pictures. Very nice views and a beautiful small building. We enjoyed the beer and the Brussels sprouts were phenomenal. They had a very good food menu with all unique choices. They also have an outside area with barrel tables and a XL ConnectFour game!See more..

Recently made the trek to Burlington VT from southern Massachusetts for a family trip and had planned to make a day trip to Hills Farmstead in Greensboro. Did not bother due to Covid restrictions but a local said "River Roost" makes some fine IPAs are that compare well with Hills Farmstead. That was enough fro me to stop at River Roost on the way home and boy was I glad I did. The Mas Verde DIPA was definitely worthy of the Hills farmstead comparison and the other IPA's weren't far behind. Really good stuff. Highly recommend.See more..
4.5Drop-In Brewing(15 reviews) - Top Notch Place Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Breweries
This place was well worth the visit. Not only did they have great beer and great customer service, the woman working the taps was amazingly hospitable and so was her adorable Corgi. She treated our dog like her own, encouraged us to let him off leash and didn’t mind when he jumped up on the couch. She even gave him a treat! The owner of the restaurant came over and talked to us too. We felt really lucky to end up in a place like this during our visit to Vermont and we will definitely stop again. See more..
My wife and I had a lively visit here. The service was really good and very friendly. Beer was really good, my favourite was the Whiplash(Bavarian wheat beer). Food was really good, I had a simple chili which was only $6 and was really tasty. My wife had the barn salad which was equally good and very tasty. Thoroughly recommended.See more..

New Park Brewing is CT's newest craft beer brewery. It officially opened its doors on 3/25/2017 with 4 very good beers on tap. The opening was well received with a long line of new fans ready to become life long patrons of their creations. Their initial line lineup consisted of a pale ale, an IPA, a DIPA, and a porter. The staff was eager to please the thirsty group patiently waiting to get in the door. If everyone was as pleased as I was, the owners of New Park Brewing will be very successful.See more..
