From the moment I contacted them regarding trip arrangements for canoe-into-site camping, Michael was more than accommodating, directing us to an ideal spot, making arrangements to ensure a wonderful experience, offering availability for whatever we might need, and giving us a quick but clear and effective tutorial on strapping a canoe to our car and reaching our gorgeous, pristine, and peaceful destination without incident. He even gave us great advice about places to go throughout the rest of our New England adventure that enhanced the trajectory of our itinerary. John from ATA made our weekend camping trip to Vermont exciting. We did the Caving and Kayaking adventure. We were new to caving, so we did a cave that wasn’t too difficult. Still, the ability to stretch and lift yourself up a little is required. It was challenging and fun, exactly what my girlfriends and I were looking for. Kayaking was done in a gentle river, and it was like paddling through a maze. I highly recommend booking these activities if you’re looking for something to do on your trip. John is friendly and easygoing and he offers a variety of activities from sightseeing to caving!See more..

The river was beautiful. The outfitter took us upriver for an 8 mile paddle which is their longest one. It took us about 3 1/2 hours which included a lunch stop and a stand up break. Highly recommend. Equipment was in good shape and everything you need to paddle is supplied. They have water, sunscreen and dry bags for purchase. They have a scavenger hunt that is fun to participate in.See more..
I took my two boys, aged 12 and 10, for an e-bike adventure. Well, it turned out to be a wonderful 4th July evening. The e-bikes were very well maintained and Kyle was great at explaining how they worked, to both me and my boys. After the 16 mile, super fun ride around the Norwich Hills, we joined Kyle, Jayne, Eric, Andrea, and MaKensi for a BBQ, camp fire and S'mores. We hung out later into the evening and had the best time playing corn hole & volleyball with some of the thru hikers, and finished the evening watching the fireworks while swimming in the river. What a welcoming and fun team. We felt like part of the crowd and they were wonderful at embracing my kids energy. I would recommend renting bikes, kayaks and other equipment from these guys.
