perfect weather perfect golf course but they let 11 people cut in front at the turn. 8 teed off together and 3 (either friends of staff or they are staff) followed. My wife and I played the front in 1 1/2 hrs, 3 holes on back in 1 3/4 hrs. we quit and when told the lady in proshop, she said no refunds and I don't believe you. (pro shop overlooks tee areas for 1 and 10) I don't get it. 11 people cut in front at the turn. We drove up from CT. and loved the front 9...We want to go back but I don't know......See more..
My golf buddies and i are so excited that we can play Haystack again. Played in July right after the reopening and was surprised at how great the conditions were (even though the traps were being rebuilt). Looking forward to fall golf again.See more..

4.0Lake Morey Resort Golf Club(18 reviews) - Last minute plans made before holiday weekend and they actually had available rooms with Lake view! Golf Courses
Didn't think Lake Morey would have any rooms available last minute but not only did they have a room for my daughter and myself but it was lakeview! Accomodations were better than 7 years ago when our whole family stayed there but was slightly disappointed they didn't include the meal plan on July 4th weekend so ate dinner there once and had the free buffet barbeque on the 4th. I love the old charm of this place and the slanted floors speak for themselves. (No I didn't drink too much :) ) Lots of water activities and, although I didn't play this time, the golf course is beautiful to walk with amazing mountain views on some holes. Fun things for adults and kids to do. Also missed movie night this time but the theatre is adorable!!See more..
See some reviews about the condition of this place, but it certainly must have been renovated. Everything was in very good condition. Had a good mix of straight forward and difficult holes. They do use natural rocks for some bank shots and rarely did those work as designed. Was not crowded at all and $6/person. Kids and adults had a lot of fun. Located right across from the Visitor's Center, behind the pizza place.See more..

4.0Mount Snow Golf Course(15 reviews) - Great views Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Golf Courses
Mount Snow Golf Course is in excellent condition.....beautiful greens and fairways, and of course great views. The back “Black” tees are at a distance of 6943 rated 73.7/139. The middle “white” is at 6539 distance. $54 to play with a cart is a great deal. See more..
4.5Montague Golf Club(14 reviews) - A Walk Not Spoiled Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM Golf Courses
Montague is a well maintained golf course. The fairways are cut. The greens run true and the rough is challenging but not penal. It is a golf course that tests the skills of an “everyday” player. The staff is courteous and friendly. The green fees are player friendly.See more..
Stratton has three nine hole courses, all of which are very good (and a little pricey). You can get tee times on line. Unfortunately you can't find out what courses you will play until that morning. Courses are in wonderful shape and challenging. These courses play longer than they appear in most cases, so take an extra club or two on most shots. The facility has a driving range (fair) and a wonderful restaurant on the deck of the clubhouse with a great view of the mountain and course. I did not stay at the resort so can't comment on sleeping facilities.See more..

3.5Tater Hill Golf Course(10 reviews) - A good course near Manchester, VT Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
This 18 hole course has an old part and a newer part. Seven of the first nine holes are from the old course, very nicely renovated however. Two of the front nine holes are from an expansion made quite a few years back. The back nine has seven holes from the expansion and two from the original course. The character is very different between the front and the back, with the front more flat and open, while the back nine is hilly and relatively narrow in the woods. The front plays relatively easy, except for the two holes from the expansion, while the back plays rather difficult with many elevated greens. It’s a fun course to play. Look for discounts for afternoon play and on the internet.See more..
3.0Williston Golf Club(10 reviews) - Afternoon golf Golf Courses You'll find Williston Golf Club in the heart of the Historic Village of Williston. There, golfers play one of the very best maintained courses in all of New England and enjoy a brisk four hour round. Refreshingly, Williston does not conform to the modern model of golf course design. It is an old style parkland layout that was built the old fashion way, using the natural features of the land.See more..
This is a low key excellent 9 hole golf course almost hidden along route 100 just south of Rochester, Vt. The course is laid out along the White River in a valley with beautiful views. It is very flat and easily walkable and the course layout is very deceiving and can play very difficult. There is a premium on accuracy. The course doesn't beat you up, that is up to you. It is in excellent shape and the greens are perfect. What a treat. You can enjoy some excellent pizza and a good selection of beer after your round. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.See more..
Our par-72 Championship course lies amongst woods, farm and pasture land, and rolling hills. While Neshobe GC affords beautiful mountain views in all directions, it is not a typical “mountain course”, having no severe up- or down-hill lies or blind shots. We have 18 distinctive holes which provide a variety of challenges to all facets of the game. Total yardage from the blue tees is 6341, from the white tees 5746 and from the red tees 5006. Driving range, restaurant and pub round out the facilities. During the winter, our two golf simulators keep the game going. Clearly, it is a tribute to our Course Superintendent and his expert staff, that players rave about the course conditions all season long. We have a right to brag about it! Come see why.See more..

Spectacular Views. This course is challenging and has some spectacular views of the green mountain range. The course was in decent shape however there were many uneven tee boxes (whites) and the 19 hole was a disappointment considering I played on Friday before labor day.See more..

4.0Stonehedge Golf Course(1 review) - Great spot to work on your short game Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Golf Courses Stopped on our way home from Virginia to play nine holes. Very nicely maintained, with a club house that is fully equipped, spotless, and has a nice patio attached to it. This is generally a par 3 course, but some of the holes stretch out to 4 especially for women and seniors. Would come back in a heartbeat.See more..
4.0Cedar Knoll Country Club(1 review) - One of the nicer courses in Chittenden County with lots of variety Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses Having played this course as a couple, and in tournaments, I find that it's a good course to visit whenever you are in the area. The beauty of the spot is its variety - 3 separate 9-hole courses. Great variety, and lots of flexibility when there are crowds. A good bet you can get out without a tee time. As in all courses, however, call ahead. The course is well maintained, has some great challenging holes, and if you walk, plan on a significant dose of exercise. Lots of ups and downs. Great views of the surrounding countryside.See more..
This course is located tight on lake Bomoseen. The person who runs the course is very nice and helpful. The course is not difficult but the greens are small and fast. the views from the top of the hill where the tees for holes 2,5 and 8 are located provide a great view of the Lake.See more..
3.0Essex Country Club(1 review) - Good spot for golfing without a crowd Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses There are many courses to choose from when you are in the Burlington area for golf. Essex Country Club is one we return to often. It has a good variety of holes - from short to long, to some with hazards, to some picturesque. A great course to walk, because it's not very hilly. The back nine offers some elevation change to add to the variety. I would consider Essex among the top 10-15 in Chittenden County.See more..
